Scarlett's POV:

The doorbell rang and I excitedly made my way to the front door to greet Y/n. I opened the door, and she was stood with a wide smile on her face, in a pair of aviator sunglasses and her black leather jacket which she looks incredible in. My voice gets caught in my throat as I look her up and down. "Hi, you look beautiful as always." She greets me and her words make me blush. "You're looking good yourself." I respond, a little flustered. "Are you ready to go?" She asked. "Let me just grab my bag." I responded. She nodded and I quickly ran into the living room to get my things.

I laughed to myself when I got back to the door and saw her nervously swaying on her feet, swinging her hands to connect to each other. "I'm good to go." I said, stopping her movements instantly. Once I had locked the door, I turned around and I wasn't greeted by her usual Volvo, but the new car Robert had bought her for her birthday. "Wow, this car is a beauty." I stated and walked around it, admiring the vehicle. I'm not a car fanatic. They get me from A to B, but this car really was something.

Y/n was stood with a proud smiled on her face. I eventually made it back to the passenger side of the car where she was waiting for me. As I approached, she held the door open for me. As I went to get in, I left a peck on her cheek. "Thank you." I husked and got comfortable whilst admiring the immaculate interior. Y/n joined me and started up the engine which roared. I observed her and I could tell she was getting excited by driving the car.

She had only picked it up yesterday, so I knew that she was enjoying every moment in it. I'm really glad that she picked me up in it. Whilst we're driving the sun is shining on her face. With her jacket and glasses, she looks incredibly hot. I quickly took out my phone and took a shot. She looked like a model. She heard the sound of the photo taking and turned to look at me. "What was that?" She asked, turning her gaze back to the road.

"You don't understand how good you look right now. I want a photo to remember this." I told her honestly and a smile crept on her face. "Oh, so I don't look good normally?" She replied and I found myself stuttering. "I, uh. Well. Yes, you um, you always look good. You just look um, particularly good now." She chuckled, shaking her head a little. "You're cute when you stutter." She states and carries on focussing on the road.

We have small talk until we pulled up to the shooting range. I've been excited for this. I know that Y/n is in the Military, but I know she isn't part of the infantry and I've had a lot of training for Marvel. So, I'm kind of hoping that I can beat her at this too. She's probably underestimating me so I'm hoping to play that to my advantage. Unfortunately, I can't exactly try to distract her if I'm starting to lose. I'd rather this date didn't end with one of us in the Emergency room!

Y/n quickly runs around to open my door, like she had done whilst on our first date. I loved how attentive she was. Small gestures like this were a big part of a relationship for me. It shows that they care to take the effort. As we walk towards the building, I slip my hand in to Y/n's and she looks at me in shock. "What?" I smirked and she held our hands up in between us, giving them a weird look. "Is this not ok?" I asked but she was quick to shake her head.

"No, I like this. But we're in public. Are you sure you're ok with this?" She asked and it made my heart flutter that she was being considerate of what we had been talking about. "There isn't really anyone around and I want to hold your hand. I like being close to you." I responded and her smile grew wide. Rather than responding, she moved her hand around my waist and placed a kiss on my temple. She then guided me up to the door and held it open for me.

I observed that there wasn't anyone at the range, and come to think of it, there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot. "Y/n/n! Good to see you again!" A booming southern voice called out from behind the counter. "Sean! Thanks for having us today." Y/n responded gently pulling at my hand towards the counter. "Wait, have you booked out the whole place?!" I asked in surprise. "I wanted you to be comfortable." Without even thinking about it, I was on my tiptoes and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks." I whispered.
