"I'll need you to take off your clothes

"I'll need you to take off your clothes."

"Uhh, can I ask why?" I asked. I shuffled nervously while wrapping my arms around myself. Nohorr had escorted me to a large examination room. It had an examining table in the center with different machines I couldn't recognize around it. There was also a camera in the corner.

"Is that going to be on?" I motion toward the camera across the room. It was facing the table.

"It already is. I'm not the only one that's going to be examining you. That video is live." He whispered lowly to me to prevent his voice from echoing and being caught on camera.

"Is there an issue Commander Nohorr?" A male voice called out from the camera. I could see a small antenna that resembled a microphone sprout out and swivel in our direction.

"Just nervous and scared, she is unfamiliar with our ways. I am being especially tolerant due to the trauma she experienced during her captivity." Nohorr said, defending me. He began walking towards the camera with his hands behind his back. "Please excuse us for a moment so that I may comfort the female." A voice hummed from the camera before it went idle. Nohorr turned around to face me. He had a small reassuring smile on his face.

"I know that you are frightened. I can smell it. You needn't worry. This is just an evaluation of your physical and mental abilities." He explained.

"Can't I do that dressed?" I lightly muse while fidgeting with my injured hand. This caused a splicing pain to erupt up my arm.

"I'm required to examine you to make sure you are healthy. Please keep in mind that if you don't cooperate, you will fail."

"What happens if I fail?" He got a serious look on his face and walked towards me briskly, gripping my shoulders firmly.

"These tests determine where you are seeded on Zorron. If you do well, you will live well." I gaped at him. So these weren't just any tests. These would determine where I would live as well as with whom.

"I understand now. Where do you want me." The moment I said those words, the camera roared to life. Only then did I get an inkling that someone had been listening to us.

"Please commence, Commander Nohorr." Nohorr nodded and led me to the examining table.

"Please undress and lay yourself on the table. It will only take a moment." I awkwardly cough as I remove my pants and shirt, covering myself as best as possible with my hands. I moved over to the table, dodging the robotic arms that were hanging at its sides. Once I was lying down, I was instructed to move my arms to my sides, providing a clear view of my body. I had to stop myself from crying at the command.

"This table will do everything. That way, you don't have to worry about me touching you. I figured that you might prefer this." I was thankful for Nohorr's generosity. Without it, I probably would have run out of there the moment he told me to undress. "We will first take your weight and measurements. Next, we will get blood samples. Once the tests come back ruling out any disease, we will move to the physical." Nohorr explained. I thought of the other human women. Had they failed when their tests came back positive for disease? Maybe it was only transmittable diseases that worried them.
