Meredith's POV:
"Meredith!" Lexie yelled through the grocery store. She saw me down the isle and walked up to me.
"Lex, hey!" I gave my sister a hug and looked her up and down. "You look good! Are you already nervous? The wedding is only a couple of days away"
Mark and Lexie's wedding will take place in just a few days. They are going to get married in a beautiful barn just outside of the city. It was all Lexie's idea, of course. Mark hated it at first. He wouldn't want to come anywhere near a barn let alone get married in it but Lexie managed to change his mind. Mark was still a little skeptical but he is also looking forward to it. He was going to marry the love of his life and she is going to marry hers.
"So I'm going to come over Saturday morning and we'll check out the wedding venue. We will set everything up and pick up your dress. Everything is going to be okey and you just have to relax and think about marrying Mark."
"Yes...It'll be fine...I guess." she shrugs
"You are not getting second thoughts, are you?!"
"No, No, definitely not!" She chuckled.
"I am just really nervous. This day has to be perfect."
"I know, and it will, it will be perfect. I promise." I smile at her and give her a quick hug. "Oh and by the way. The wedding is Sunday so on Saturday I will stay with you at your house and Derek will take Mark back to our place."
"What, why?"
"Tradition. You can't spend the night before the wedding with your future husband."
Lexie lets out a big sigh and rolls her eyes. " Well I know better that to try and argue you on this so I guess I'll see you Saturday."
"Yes. Don't be nervous. Everything will be prefect." I smile one final time and we part ways. I check my stuff out and head back home. I pulled into our driveway and headed back inside.
"Der, I'm home!" I yelled when I walked inside.
"Mer, hi! How was your day?" He smiles and walks up to me. He kisses me on the lips and gives me a hug. His beautiful eyes are staring lovingly at me and I instantly feel warm.
"What?" I whisper.
"Nothing." He smiles widely. "You are just so beautiful"
"Derek" I blush and look away.
He grabs my hand and makes me face him once again. "Mer, I mean it, truly. You are so beautiful." He kisses me once again and I walk away still in awe of his sweet words. I am not used to getting compliments. Before I met Derek I didn't get them very often.
"Anyway, my day was fine. Had to teach a couple of classes. The students behaved okey today which is a surprise. Lunched sucked tho because I had to spend it alone. You were no where to be found. Where were you?"
"Oh I had to meet up with the principal. He wanted to talk to me about the performances of the football team. They have been doing very good lately and he complimented me on my abilities as coach." He smiled widely.
"Wow, that's good Derek!" I kisses him briefly. "Oh final thing. I saw Lexie in the grocery store. I am going to make everything ready for the wedding on Saturday. I also told her you and Mark are going to sleep here and Lexie and I are going to sleep there on Saturday."
"Oh, yes I also mentioned to Mark. He seemed fine with it."
"Okey great. How was your day?"
"Pretty good. The classes were fun and the compliment form the principal did me good. Then I went home and now you are here, which means it is going amazing." He smirked.
"Cheesy" I giggled
"It's not cheesy!"
"It is"
"No"
"But it is."
"Alright if you say so..." He chuckled and walked to the kitchen. "I am going to make us dinner. You just relax"
I took a seat on the couch and watched some tv. I heard music coming from the kitchen and the food was sizzling on the stove. I got thirsty so I made my way to the kitchen. I stood in the doorway. Derek's back was facing me and he hasn't seen me yet. His hips are swinging to the music and he is singing along with the lyrics. His black curls bounced on top of his head and the pink apron was swinging around his body. He looked so cute. He was totally wrapped up in his own world. I let out a small giggle which made him jump.
"Mer" He chuckles nervously. "I didn't see you there"
"Really? You didn't? I thought you were dancing just for me." I laughed.
He rolled his eyes. "I can if you want to" He smirked, a dirty look in his eyes.
"Derek Shepherd" I giggle. I roll my eyes and walked up to him. I kissed his cheek. "It was cute tho, especially in my pink apron." I whispered. I chuckled and turned away again.
"I bet it was. Dinner is almost ready." He says and finishes dinner.
We finished the delicious dinner Derek had made us. I was helping him with the dishes.
"So what do you want to do tonight?" I asked him
"I don't know. Maybe we can watch a movie?"
"Sure"
"Sure? what you don't like it?"
"It's fine. IT's just-we have been watching movies a lot lately."
"Oh, I guess that's true."
"Besides, my back is hurting me like crazy. I think it's because of the stupid chairs at work."
"God those chairs are horrible. I can give you a massage, if you want."
"That sounds amazing" I say while turning to face him. "Thank you."
I put the last plate back in the cupboard and Derek whips the counter one last time. He walks up behind me and starts massaging my shoulders.
"Hmmm" I murmur softly. I tilt my head to the side and he presses little kisses to my neck.
"Ready for your massage?" He whispers
"Yes" I nod. He suddenly lifts me up and holds me tight against his body. "Derek!" I squeal. I giggle while he brings us to our bedroom. He tosses the blankets aside and lays me down on the bed. I turn around to my stomach and he climbs on the bed. He straddles my legs and starts massaging my shoulders.
*Sooo... what do you think will happen during his massage 😈*
