A/N: Yes, it took me this long to actually write this scene. Hindi ko na sana sya balak isulat talaga, but then, I took a vacation at a really lovely resort somewhere in Batangas. So yeah, I remembered that the supposed wedding was set in a resort in Batangas...

And well, Hans will forever be my first love.

KATHERINE

The wedding came too soon.

Minsan hindi ako makapaniwala that I am marrying the man of my dreams. And then reality would hit me.

He is not marrying me because he loves me deeply. Papakasalan nya ako to make sure that he will never lose his children.

Me, on the other hand, would marry him just the same. Kahit ano pa ang dahilan nya sa pagpapakasal sa akin. Klaro pa rin sa akin na sya lang ang gusto kong makasama habang buhay.

Alam ko isang araw, mapapatawad nya din ako sa mga ginawa ko. Lalo na ang itago sa kanya ang dalawang anak nya.

Sometimes, I feel na andun pa rin kung ano ang mayroon kami dati. And that he was just trying to shut me off. But most of the times, he would just be the new-indifferent-him and I would realize that I just see what I want to believe.

"Ang lalim na naman ng iniisip mo Bes." Napatingin ako kay Althea na nakatayo sa may pinto ng kwarto kung saan ako naghahanda.

"Hindi lang ako makapaniwala na mangyayari na talaga ito." Sagot ko sa kanya. "Naalala mo ba noong college pa tayo. Ito yung madalas nating pinagpapantasyan."

Lumapit sa akin si Thea at napangiti, "then put a smile on your face. Because this is the day that you have been waiting for."

I forced a smile, pero as usual, Thea saw through me. "Regardless of the circumstances Kaye, I know Hans would never marry you if he does not intend to."

"But..."

"Kahit ano pang BS ang sinabi nya sa iyo about needing to get the children and all, remember that he can do that without marrying you. And if he decides that he wants custody of the children, not even Andrew can stop him."

That made sense pero..

"Come on, Bes. Put that smile on, cause you are walking down that aisle and marrying the man of your dreams."

Natawa ako sa pagkakasabi ni Thea, hindi ko alam kung ako ang kinukumbinsi nya ako o ang sarili nya.

I gave her a hug, "oh Thea. Buti na lang you are already a member of the family. If not, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kung wala ka."

"Gaga, bonus na lang na nabingwit ako ng kuya mo," sagot nya sa akin sabay hagikgik, "pero kahit hindi kami nagkatuluyan ni Andrew, alam mo naman na lagi lang akong nandito para sa iyo."

Bigla akong napaluha sa sinabi nyang iyon.

"Ay ano ba yan Bes!!! Wag ka ngang umiyak. Di maganda sa wedding pictures ang mugto ang mata."

With that, hinila nya ako papunta sa may dresser at tinawag ang mag aayos sa akin para ipasok na din ang wedding gown ko.

Hans had it shipped from... well, I don't know where. Pero Thea has been gushing about it for days na. Sabi nya sa akin, sobrang special daw nung gown. At mukhang pinasadya.
