Hindi ko alam kung anung pumasok sa isip ko at for a moment ay nalimutan kong staff ko nga pala sya. Sobrang tagal ko na syang hindi nakita, at nakaharap. Akala natapos na ang lahat. Yung wala na akong mararamdaman pag nagkita kaming muli. Pero mali ako.
The moment I saw her and heard her sigh, nawala lahat ng galit ko. I felt that familiar feeling, at hindi ko mapigilan na sambitin ang pangalan nya.
And another bad idea ang pagpapapunta sa kanya sa opisina ko. Ni hindi ko alam kung ano na naman ang sasbihin ko once na nandito na sya. Hindi ko alam kung magpapanggap ako that I didn’t just slip and tenderly called her by nickname, or demand an explanation upfront.
Ten fvcking years and it still feels as if I’m a love struck teenager. This is not going to work kung magpapatuloy na ganito ako. Lalo na pag kaharap ko si Kaye.
She might be the primary reason why I accepted this job, but I’d be d@mned if I would mess it up on my first encounter with Katherine.
And speaking of the goddess. She just walked through my door looking as confused as I feel at the moment.
“Why are you even here Hans?” Trust her not to mince with words. Nakabawi na sya and now she’s the feisty b!tch I’ve always admired.
She’s the only one who keeps me grounded. Yung alam kong may isang tao na hindi nai-intimidate sa akin.
“Apparently, I am your boss.”
“That, I already know. What I am asking you is that of all the companies in the Philippines, not to mention the whole wide world, you managed to land a job where I actually work.”
Now she is pissed. Cute nya ha.
“May I remind you that I am still your boss?”
“Really, Hans? You forfeited that card when you called me by my nickname!”
At ngayon ay nagtataas na ito ng boses. Tsss. Pikon talaga.
“We own this company.” Sagot ko bago pa tuluyang mapikon si Kaye at mag quit.
“Ha?!”
“Look Kaye, if it makes you feel any better, that moment in the conference room has been a blunder. And I don’t intend for it to happen again.”
Hindi pa din sya nakapagsalita uli.
“Nabigla lang talaga ako. Akala ko napaghandaan ko na ang gagawin ko pag nakita kita uli pero… Pero mali ako.”
