Kings point of view

As I sat in the passenger seat of Reid's car with my foot uncontrollably tapping the floor my head was fighting for its life. "You know she's going to be mad right?" I questioned looking over at him, and he looked back stopping at a red light behind her car.  "So, we're not the ones who kept it a secret."

"We kind of are. Especially you, who's been hanging out with her." I wasn't understanding his approach here. "She just seems like a good fuck bro, it's not like this is our deal. It's dad's." He started driving again still following them. "Yeah dad who stepped down? And bro your my brother and all but you have to stop treating women like this."

I heard Gabriele scoff in the back seat. "Shut the fuck up." He said looking back at her and back to the road. "And okay Prince Charming."  Once we made it to her mothers house we got out of the car. I jumped onto the hood of the car and sat there. "Are you not coming in?" She said holding the door open. "No." I didn't even look at her.

Reid followed her inside and Gabriele sat next to me on the hood. "You think this is going to fuck us over?" She asked handing me a blunt that was already lit. "I let Reid handle the Italian mafia for a reason, so the question is will this fuck you guys over?" I took a sharp inhale before handing her the blunt back.

"Reid is a child who doesn't know his place, so he's going to pick this mess up Himself, we should've never went to that hospital in the first place and we knew it." I shook my head in disappointment. "Yeah well when ur half dead and your personal surgeons are kinda dead, you have no choice but to go to the nearest hospital, King."

She looked over at me rolling her doe eyes. "She looks like the most she could do is cry while sighing anyways so why are you so worried?" I'm not worried but I am timid about this contract. "You do realize the contract is a truce between several different don's right?"

I don't understand how I didn't notice this was Vanessa's daughter from the jump.

Francesca's point of view

I walked into the house and watched as everyone beside Reid and I, go up the stairs splitting their separate ways at the corridor. I dropped my bag and headed to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of Hennessy from my moms top cupboard and to glasses. "Sweetheart of my mother where are you?" I yelled sarcastically before running into her and a friend sitting in the dinning room.

"Sorry I didn't know you had company." She didn't even look up at me and sat with her hand to her forehead with an empty glass besides her. I looked over at the man that sat two seats away from her. He wasn't too old and was a good looking man. "Well I brought company to. Reid, Vanessa. Vanessa, Reid." I did her a favor and poured some of the Hennessy in her glass which she took.

"I need you to sign this." She handed over a packet of lots of paper stapled together with a pen. I trust my mother enough and sat down to fill in every single dotted line without asking. Once it got to where I had to write my last name she stopped me. "Your full name Francesca." I looked at her confused.

"I was going to but then you interrupted." I continued to write my name but when it got to the 'R' of my last name she stopped me once more but this time she wasn't the one to speak. "It needs your full name. Including your middle name." I fucking hated my middle name because of who it reminds me of and she knew this.

I looked over at the man and looked back down to the papers and started looking through it for key words. "What is this?" I asked. I felt Reid get closer to my seat resting his hand on it. "It's nothing important I've been signing it but your old enough so you have to." I placed down the pen.

"Okay so tell me what it is." I pushed the bunches of paper away from me and towards her. "How old are you Francesca?" The man asked me as if he almost knew me. "I'm 21." I answered calmly. He looked back at Reid and quickly to me. "Well Francesca, I'm Enzo De' Luca and this is the contract that's keeping your hospital open."

My eyes widened and my head immediately turned to look at Reid. "He's my father." He admits and I look back over to Enzo. "Besides that fact." I scoffed. "What does my hospital have anything to do with you?" In the corner of my eye I watched as my mom turned red. "The contract is for the people that go in and out of your hospital on a daily. I'm sure you noticed after certain patients you get paid three times the medical bill."

He wasn't lying. When my more up class patients came in they would never pay the amount they were supposed to. "Well those patients are part of certain mafia and the money you receive is me holding up my side of the contract." Did this man just say mafia?

"Your side of the deal is you take care of those patients and keep them alive no matter the cause." Though my heart was beating I sat back calmly and crossed my legs closing my eyes. "Besides obviously doing this for money what else does the benefit you?" I asked my mother completely shutting out Enzo and his apparent son.

"Just sign." I opened my eyes at her words and looked over and Enzo who stayed quiet this time, so I looked up at Reid. "Want to jump in the circle of truth?" He seemed calm, and not really paying attention to the conversation. "Oh yeah it would keep your mom from jail."

"I sincerely wished I was surprised at that." When i said those words she was the one shocked, looking at me as if I said something disrespectful. "Leaving the contract unsigned tonight would shut down the hospital?" I stood up slowly pushing my chair back and looking down at the contact. "Yes the police would be notified that the hospital is sitting on Mafia ground, for the the past 5 years."

"4 years, and wouldn't that fuck you up to?" He stood up as well getting ready to leave. "I didn't say which mafia."

"
