I knew what he wanted, and I was ready to give in. Maybe? Hook ups never went wrong for me. The only difference this time was that I was sober this time and I only hook up drunk. I Can't get pregnant, I'm on birth control. After this week we won't see each other any more. And I myself have no connection with him or anyone he knows. But I'm not that easy.

"No limitations on me doll." His eyes were not green anymore. They were dark and covered in a thick layer of lust almost mirroring my eyes. Our faces were only inches away so I provoked the gap.

"I bet your used to girls telling you what ever you want to hear." His eyes were now on my moving lips. "You get what you want when you want it?" I asked knowing the answer. His lips curled. "Are you trying to say I'm not getting what I want tonight?"

The Farris wheel stopped at the top of the ride. The flashing lights beaming off our faces. "That's exactly what I'm saying." I leaned back into my seat, making the gap bigger than before and flipped my mask back on. "That's not true." His voice was now back to its stern state. "By the fifth night of this carnival, I guarantee I'll have at least kissed you."

He was having fun with this, betting on his fate. I engaged. "I bet not. So what exactly will I get when I win." He again was trying to find my eyes behind the mask as he sat back. He was thinking as he pushed his tongue to the side of his mouth.

"A kiss." The ride started moving again. This is going to be an interesting week for sure. "Can't wait." I looked out to see all the people underneath us enjoying there time. Their lives looking perfect as smiles filled their faces and their loved ones adoring them behind the bright masks. My head is just reeling.

Looking back at Reid I could feel my whole world shaking in my hands. As if this whole encounter was for the absolute worst. If my father had taught me anything it was to never trust anyone, even himself.

"Someone has a lot on their mind. What is it?" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. "My father." He tilted his head. "Dead." He said. "Thankfully." He smirked at my response. "Wait how do you know that?" My eyebrows furrowed. "You just got a lot more interesting, doctor."

Again the ride stopped and it was time to get off. "It's a fucking nightmare." And at that I got off with him following. We walked past the line and made it to the end where we found Beverly holding Ava on her back, Vanni sucking off that poor girls face and Jocelyn sharing an elephant ear with Max.

I sat at their table and took a piece of the elephant ear. "Where did you guys disappear to?" Beverly placed Ava down and the rest sat down as well. "Farris Wheel." Reid pointed behind us before biting some of the dessert in my hand.

I leaned away from him as he was trying to get more and ate the rest before he could reach me. As his phone rang before he picked it up he wiped the corner of my mouth with his thumb and ate the powdered sugar.

He answered the phone walking a good distance away. "We going to area four or y'all tired." Max asked. "What's four this year?" I looked down and zipped up the zipper on my boot that was coming down. "Lock down drill." That was my favorite one. Several men and women would take you and a friend into a room of mirrors where they tied you to a chair inches away from that friend.

Every "drill" here was imitating school drills but you never get out alive and in the end the drills you always practiced for never helped you. "We should skip and go to five. It'll better tomorrow cause this year Tuesday is horror night." Ava's doe eyes never left Beverly's as she explained.

Horror night was like Halloween early in Italy. "I have to go but I'll be back tomorrow. With two." What did he mean two? He kissed the top of my head and left with his phone back in his ear. I heard two words of the conversation and my head felt like it was splitting in half.

"Halstons back."

"So straight to five Frankie?" I was pulled out of my mind. "What?" I looked up at Giovanni. "No we should just eat and save the paths for the rest of the week." I said turning back to look for Reid's back but he was gone within the crowd.

We made our way to where all the food stations were and picked up things to eat. Vanni put his arm around my shoulder as we waited in line for the food. "So who's the guy?" I couldn't tell if he wanted to know or if he was waiting for me to say the wrong thing.

"A friend. Not even his an acquaintance." I removed his hand's from around me realizing why he put it there in the first place. "Splitting away from everyone with him and kissing your head good bye. Such an acquaintance." He mimicked my voice in the end. "Ok so who's the girl your with?"

I turned the tables away from Reid immediately. "A stripper I picked up back home." He shrugged his shoulders. "That's fucking disgusting, you should get checked." I looked at him as if I was in shock. "Wait I never put my dick in her." He screamed a bit too loud causing me to laugh.

"I mean you might as well have. I think your lips are bruising." I teased at him. "That's not even remotely funny." He said touching his lips in a hurry.

The bond have with my brother is a bond to never be broken.
