Francesca's point of view.
The doorbell rang while I was cooking. King was still in the shower so I departed from the food and went to open the door. Reid stood with several gifts wrapped in Christmas paper and Chastity had her arm looped around his. "Merry Christmas!" They shouted as I let them in. I took some of the gifts from Reid's hands and we made our way to the living room, sitting the gifts under the tree. I turned around and hugged them both. "Where are the twins?" Reid asked. "Asleep right now, your brothers in the shower. Make yourselves at home. I have to get to the kitchen." I told them as I walked away. Chastity followed and offered to help.
She was quiet most of the time. "Can I ask you something?" She asked as I poured us a glass of wine. "Why couldn't you?" I smiled. Before she could ask her question, King came down stairs shirtless with Bear following. He ran to the living room and hugged Reid tight. "It's been a while since they saw each other." She said. "Your question, hun."
"How did Andrea react to your engagement?" I took a sip of the wine and looked at her. "No one besides Reid knew about it until we sent out wedding invitations but she was happy as ever." I said truthfully. She nodded and pushed her red hair behind her ear. The light reflected on a huge ring on her hand. "My god." I said walking closer to her. "He asked the day before his birthday." I gasped and hugged her close. "Congratulations my love. Someone had to tie him down." I told her happily.
The boys walked into the kitchen and King came to my side and kissed my forehead. "Merry Christmas, doc." He told me. I leaned into him and stared at Reid. "She told you?" He asked, laughing. "And you waited a month for me to find out." I acted hurt. "You waited nine months to tell me it was twins." He shot back. "Did you know?" I asked, looking up at King. "Maybe." He whispered and I scoffed.
"Mommy!" Was screamed at the top of the stairs. I went running and Bear followed. "Yes Kayleigh?" I asked her as she held on tight to her stuffed bear. "Did Santa come?" I smiled and nodded. Bear met her at the top of the stairs and she used his collar to walk down with him. "Better yet, your uncle is here." She squealed and ran to the living room. She turned around and ran to the kitchen where she found Reid. Reid picked her up and kissed all over her face. "I know you've been the best girl ever this year." He told her as I walked to King. "Yes Uncle Reid." She smiled, never letting go of her bear. "Daddy?" A soft voice came from behind us. "Good morning Kinley." King said before picking him up. "I'm still tired." He whined and laid his head down on his chest. "Well you have to wake up, aunty Eve, aunty Lyn, aunty Ava, everyone is coming. So wake up." Kayleigh said as she moved over to Chastity's arms.
"I still can't believe you let Kay take her attitude. She's only two." Reid pointed to me and I rolled my eyes. Someone knocked on the door again. "Can we go get it?" Kinley asked. King walked over to the front door with him. "How many people are coming, Francesca?" I looked at Chastity and thought. "Beverly, Ava, Jocelyn, Max, and the boy's parents." She smiled.
