I was taken into a back room with such bright lights. My head was spinning and I couldn't stand straight. This is why I never drink, oh my. The guy was still holding my hand but I couldn't see his face because of the bright light, I kept my eyes shut tight.
"Darling your drunk do you have a ride home?" He asked me. "Drunk? I'm not drunk your drunk, don't tell me I'm drunk." I said confidently. I was so fucking drunk. He sighed. "That's why I'm not going to do anything with you while your so out a normal state of mind." He said. I went to let go of his hand to move closer to him but I just almost tripped.
Thankfully he grabbed my forearm before I could fall and this time I held on tight. "Do you have your address or remember it." I stayed silent for a moment trying to think. "Yeah I do." Fucking finally after standing there looking fucking stupid I said something.
He was very patient with me and kind. His hold on my hand was firm but felt light at the same time. I intertwined my fingers with his after my eyes adjusted to the lighting. I was in heels that made me 5 inches taller than I already was and he was still looking down on me.
He had a clean face with a sharp jaw, he had an eye that was a beautiful light green but the other mixed that green with a very dark gray. Seriously? I meet a man like this drunk, knowing damn well I'm not going to remember shit in the morning.
He moved me closer to him and moved his other hand around my waist and walked me out the side of the club. I laid my head on his chest as he took slow steps so I didn't twist an ankle. He stopped at the passenger side of a truck with tinted windows, for sure illegal.
He opened the door and sat me down placing my seatbelt on me and closing the door. I moved my hair out of my face trying to look at my surroundings but my vision that was normally 20/20 was blurry as shit. I looked for my purse but realized I left it inside and pulled my phone out of my bra. "Two missed calls from Beverly."
That's when I remembered how I got here. She's has the car she's going to be fine, I thought to myself. He sat in the drivers seat and I was finally able to mumble my address to him. I pulled down the sun visors and started looking at myself in the mirror.
I fixed my dress and pulled my boobs up making my boobs sit higher and pulled my hair to the side, fluffing it a bit. My lipstick had faded after all the bottles that were pressed on my lips tonight. "Drunk or not sir I'm really pretty." I pointed out to him before sitting back in my seat.
He took his eyes off the road for a split second and looked me up and down. "Fucking gorgeous." I smiled at his words, placing my face in my hands. I don't remember the last time a guy told me I was pretty. I could feel my cheeks turning red and hot, then I felt the car come to sudden stop. It took me a minute to realize I was home. I was expecting for him to leave but no.
He got out and came to my side of the car, opening the door for me. He took my hand and lead me to front door but I remembered not having my purse.
"I don't have my purse." His face never changed from the serious look. "Meaning what?" I chuckled not knowing what was funny. "Meaning we're going to have to jump my side fence and get in through the sliding door." He tried hiding a laugh but the corner of his lips curled so perfectly. You know those lips that are shaped so beautifully you think their probably fake? Yeah that's what my eyes were staring at, but as a doctor who was almost a plastic surgeon, those are so real. "Let's jump this fence." He said and I lead the way around to the side of my house. As we stood in front of the wooden fence I looked up at him now with a serious look. "Can you give me a lift?"
Without an answer he bent down and placed his hands together. I pulled my dress down, removed my heels and threw them over the fence before grabbing the top of the fence placing my foot in his hand. I used his hand to help me lunge myself up to where I was sitting on top of the fence. "We did it!" I yelled a bit loud, forgetting my balance was not at its best and completely fell backwards onto the grass on the other side of the fence.
"Holy shit." Was all I heard as I fell. I hit my head pretty hard but was able to get back up and unlock the fence to let him in. "You know you could've asked if I was okay." I said kind of upset I let myself fall. "Considering your responding I'd say your just fine." I rolled my eyes and Locked the fence behind him.
I picked up my heels and walked over to the glass sliding doors knowing I always forget to lock them. Once we were in the house a cold breeze passed through us and I dropped my heels on the side. "What do you do?" He asked as I tumbled my way towards the stairs. "Excuse me?" I looked back at him. "I mean you have a beautiful home, up on the hills large land. Where do you work?" I continued my walk back to the stairs but passed them to head to the kitchen. "I work in the hospital. Neuro, if you ever hit your head to hard." He followed me where I pulled out two wine glasses and a bottle of wine out pouring for the both of us.
"You don't seem like a doctor. You look like the cheerleader type, kids young, lots and lots of friends." I eyed him down knowing I hated that's what he thought of me. I slid his glass over to him and watched as he took a seat. "Maybe it's the eyes, they make me look soft right? The type to be scared of blood?" He tilted his head almost trying to disagree with me. "I think so, their wide and those pretty brown eyes ain't helping your case."
My father used to say the same thing. "Well maybe one day I'll prove you wrong." We finished our glasses and made our way to the front of the stairs with me swaying back in forth almost face first to the ground. I looked at the stairs and back at him and back at the stairs and sighed.
Next thing I knew I was over his shoulder and his hand was my thighs as his other hand held my dress down so it wouldn't move. I couldn't see shit as my hair was flipped onto my face. I wrapped my hands around his neck until we got into a room. He sat me down carefully and as I looked around, this wasn't my room but Beverly's. Did I say anything? No.
I sat on the edge of the bed and caught my breath while thinking this night over. His light brown hair that was pushed back now fell to his face, almost covering those heterochromia eyes. I would never do such a thing if I was sober but I'm not so, I reached out and ran my hand through his curls and pushed his hair back for him.
He stayed squatted and looked up at me for a minute before taking a deep breath and towering over me again. I climbed into bed slightly leaning on the head board. He was about to leave until I opened my stupid mouth again. "Stay? Until I fall asleep." I patted next to me where I wanted him to lay.
He hesitated for a while before shaking his head and laying next to me. I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head on his chest. He was tense but still put his arms around my shoulders. My eyes felt like they had so many pounds on them, I was tired but that didn't stop my mouth. "I never got your name." I said my eyes bailing on me. He placed a soft kiss on my head and I couldnt hear anything that was told from that point on.
"My name is, King. Let's do this when your sober, huh? Promise I'll see you again."
