Francesca's pov

It's been two weeks of bed rest, planning and begging for my birthday. Begging for my mom to not go all out, to let me have the party at King's club, nothing big. It was only just another day. As I sat in the driver's seat of King's truck in front of the club I smoked two blunts so far. I planned on four. To make sure I didn't remember. How could I ever want to remember me celebrating not my birthday but the anniversary of my childhood being broken completely. Water brimmed my eyes just thinking about it as I brought the lighter up to the bud. "Don't you love Uncle Matt?" I did, very much. However you took something for me I can't get back.

"I looked up and fanned my eyes as I tried not to cry and inhaled the smoke that boxed the car. The thick fog was let out when Reid opened the back door and King opened the passengers door. I cleared my throat and placed the blunt on the ashtray in the cup holder. "Are we ready?" Reid asked as he leaned up front. "Ready as can be." My voice broke, causing concern to fill their eyes. "You crying doc?" King asked as his hand found my thigh. "No." I whispered as a tear broke through and fell down my face. "Yes." I chuckled, trying to breathe. "Talk to me, pretty girl." King looked back at Reid in annoyance but he only shrugged his shoulders before looking back to me.

I locked doors and smiled back to them both before sitting to face them both and lit a new blunt taking a hit before passing it to Reid. "My ninth birthday was the last birthday I ever celebrated." I explained as King put my hand in his. "My dad's brother, he told me we'd play a game. That if I loved him, I'd play along. He was my favorite, always took his love like a niece should, he took mine for more than it was." Reid passed the blunt to King as his eyes turned, doe. Everything was somehow a joke to him but in this moment I saw something I've only seen once before back at the hospital. True worry.

"Your back tattoo." They whispered in sync as King took a hit. "He gets out today." I whispered as another tear fell. I pat my face dry trying not to smudge my makeup or get any on the white dress. "He's alive?" Reid asked in complete shock. "The Pagliarelli Prison in Sicily." I looked at him before taking the blunt back from King. "You want us to stop everything?" King asked as I smiled at him. He was in white suit to match me and Reid in all black with a red tie. "No, no." I told him as I fixed his tie. "You guys look too good, need to savor it." King tucked back my curly hair and kissed me as we heard Reid groan. "Get a room." He muttered as I pulled away with a smile. King got out and shut the door going back inside as Reid leaned in on the counsel. I passed him the blunt as I looked up to the moon through the sunroof. "You will probably be busy all the way up until tomorrow so, I should give you your gift now." Reid said as I looked down to him.

He had a big smile on his face as he pulled something out of his pocket. "You of all people don't have to give me a gift." I reassured him. He pulled out a key that had 'Jaguar' written on the side of it. "I owe you one." My eyes widened as he placed the keys in my hand. "It's parked in the back." He said as he got out. I put the blunt in the ashtray as I got out as well. I closed my door and hugged him tight as soon as he made his way to me. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back.
