Francesca's point of view.

I woke up at the crack of dawn like I've been doing. This time I woke up to weight on me. The weight of King as he laid with his head on my chest, my legs over his hips. I slowly pulled away, careful to not wake him up and got out of bed. He turned in his sleep as I went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, took a cold shower and got dressed in short leggings and a loose crop top.

After last night explaining to King everything I've been doing, I couldn't be more grateful to notice he was not mad but proud. Even when I told him I went to Vegas first, he was happy for me. I enjoyed Vegas but left bitter sweet. I packed my book bag with a change of clothes and cold water. I checked the mag in my gun and put my gun in there too. I slicked my hair back into a bun and came back into the room to find King still asleep. I slid back into bed and ran my hand up his back. I kissed his shoulders and moved my hands down his arm. "You said you'd come with me." I whispered. He groaned and turned his head away from me. I chuckled and kissed his neck.

When I went to pull away his ear caught my attention. Blue inc. Ginga font. He had gotten a new tattoo. "King?" I whispered, pushing his ear back. "No way you wake up this early doc." He said turning to face me and burying himself underneath me. He pulled on my hips and sat me on his lap. "What's behind your ear?" I asked as he looked up at me. "Your name, what else?" He yawned looking around the room as his hands traveled up my thighs.

"Do I have time to shower?" He asked, looking back at me with a smile. "You tattooed my name on you." His smile turned into a soft smirk. "I'd do it again." He sat up and kissed me before rolling from underneath me and walked to the bathroom. I sat on the edge of the bed and watched as he brushed his teeth. He leaned on the door frame and stared back. "You built a hospital, I tattooed your name. I don't see a difference." I forced a laugh and crossed my legs. "It's beautiful but I mean what if this had ended differently? Were you not scared you weren't going to find me?" I washed his mouth out and turned on the hot water. "I devoted myself to finding you. I wasn't going to give up. Also if this ended differently I'd have to come back another day and make sure it ended right."

He took off his pants and boxers and got into the shower. I went to the bathroom and sat on the counter and watched him through the glass door. "So what are our plans today?" I took a moment and thought of my plans. I was going to be completely transparent and show him everything I've been doing. "Coffee first or I'll fall asleep throughout my day. Then the shooting range with my mentor." He wiped the foggy glass and arched his brow. "You got a mentor?"

"I was scared, paranoid. Plus he's really nice." I shrugged. "He?" I ignored his question and continued. "After that, boxing lessons with my mentor, then buy food and get in the pool." I smiled slowly, kicking my feet. "Does 'he' have a name?" The front door bell rang and I jumped off the counter. "His name is Arlo, baby." I told him before going down stairs. I looked through the peephole to see Chuck waving so I opened. "Your car is parked in the garage Ms. Romano. Where would you like your award?" He asked, walking in. Locked the door behind him and pointed over the fireplace.
