Chapter 2

Migyung didn't realise that she was staring at Jake for too long as he was waiting for a handshake from her. She immediately smiled and shakes her hand with him.

"Annyong, I'm Jungwon", a cute guy with a fluffy brown hair spoke as he waved at her cutely.

"Annyong...", she smiled back and bring her attention back to the one who's asking her so many questions.

"Migyung-ah, why didn't you go to a private school? Your parents can afford that right?", a girl asked as Migyung looks at her before flashing her a smile.

"Ah...I just don't want to....studying at a normal school is much better to me"

"Ah...."
Everyone mumbles in sync as they understood her.

Suddenly the teacher came as everyone took their seats. Migyung took a glance towards Sunghoon. He slowly took off his earphones and put it inside his pockets before taking out his textbook.

"He seems cold but still focused during class......", Migyung said to herself and took out her math textbook. As usual, math is her worst enemy, it's hard for her to score on her exams for math. She's so good at other subjects except math.

The teacher begins her class.

"Does anyone knows how to answer question number 1?", the teacher asked as  Migyung felt nervous and afraid if she might get picked. She began to play with her fingers and hung her head low.

"New girl. How about you?", Migyung gasped when she realised that the teacher is mentioning her. Everyone looks at her as she slowly lift her head up.

"Me....?

"Yes you", the teacher nodded and wait for her to come to the front. Her legs suddenly felt weak and felt like she's going to fall. She took the chalk and began to write the question nervously. She paused, there's nothing in her mind.

"Migyung? Are you alright?", the teacher asked.

"Uh...I—"

"It's just a basic math", someone cuts her off.

Everyone brought their attention towards the person who just spoke. Migyung looks down, feeling so embarrassed that she couldn't even answer a basic math question.

"Okay then Sunghoon, do you want to help her?"

Sunghoon replies with a loud sigh before walking to the front with a straight face. Migyung couldn't even look at him. He looks like he's ready to kill somebody.

He took the chalk from Migyung's hand and began to write the answer on the board. Migyung watches his movements while trying to understand what he's doing.

"Done", Sunghoon said before placing the chalk at its place.

"Okay that's correct, nice job Sunghoon. Migyung, do you understand what he just did?", Migyung blinked her eyes multiple times when the teacher called her name.

"Y-yeah....", she said without looking at her.

"Okay you both can have a seat"

Migyung took a glance towards Sunghoon before walking back to her seat. She sat there embarrassed after what just happened. She looks at Sunghoon as he was crossing his arms with a straight face while focusing on what the teacher says.

"Hey it's fine, you're probably nervous earlier right?", someone spoke making her quickly turns her head towards the person.

"Oh Jake.....Y-yeah maybe I was....", she chuckled softly as Jake nodded and gave her a soft smile. Then she brought her attention back to the teacher and tries to forget about what happened.

At the cafeteria...

"Hey um, do you mind if I sit with you?", a girl approached Migyung as she looks up while munching on her food.

"Oh Sure!", Migyung brightly smiled and signalled her to sit in front of her. She wears a street style, more like a tomboy. She has a bot cut hair and it looks so attractive.

"Migyung right? I heard a lot about you, I'm Hani, Gwon Hani", she introduced herself before enjoying her meal.

"Oh Hani, it's nice to meet you", Migyung smiled and sigh as relief because someone finally approached her after almost 10 minutes eating alone. She continues to eat.

Suddenly Hani's chopsticks fell on the floor causes Migyung to snapped out from her thoughts. Hani was struggling to reach for the chopsticks because it is far away from her. But it's near Migyung.

"I'll get it", Migyung didn't hesitate to help her. She quickly stood up, until suddenly she felt something hit her head hard causes it to make a loud noise and dragged the others attention.

Foods began to mess on the floor as she covers her mouth in shock. She turned around and bowed to the person she just bumped into.

"I'm so sorry!", Migyung hung her head low, didn't even dare to look at the person.

She hear whispers all around the cafeteria.

"Omg she just bumped into him!"

"She's dead!"

"What will he do?"

Migyung slowly lifts her head up. Her face became more shocked when the person is actually the most feared student ever.....Park Sunghoon.

"S-sunghoon....I'm sorry for—"

"Move"

He pushed her hard causes her left arm to hit the bench near her. She groaned in pain while holding her wrist.

"Oh my god Migyung are you okay? That cold jerk!", Hani whisper yelled and checked if she's okay.

The other two boys which is Jake and Jungwon was about to come towards her but Sunghoon stops them.

"Hurry up don't waste your time", Sunghoon coldly said and gave them a glare before walking outside. Jake and Jungwon obeyed him and quickly followed him behind.

Everyone watched as their figure started to fade away. Everyone ran towards Migyung concerned.

"Migyung are you okay?"

"Did he hurt you really bad?"

"Wanna go to the nurse's office?"

"Ouch your hand! You got hit really bad!"

"It's okay! I'm okay. I'll go to the nurse's office", Migyung stood up and signalled Hani to come with her. Hani nodded and followed her from behind.

"Yeah you shouldn't have done that!"
