Chapter 10

    He literally just screamed at her infront of everyone. Every person in that class stops their actions and looked at both of them. Even a passerby stops to see what's happening.

"W-what, Sunghoon it's just a gift as a friend—"

"Friend?! What friend?! Me? I'm your friend?!"

He cuts her off making her flinch. She holds the box while shaking. This is the first time she got yelled by a guy.

"Take it, I just want to help you", Migyung said. Yes, she's scared, but she knows she can handle the situation well.

"Help me? For what? What's this useless thing going to do? You probably giving me some 'romantic' things just like the others girls do. I'm so sick of being around with a girl like you!", Sunghoon said and slammed the table. He couldn't hold his anger anymore.

"This gift? For me right? Now it's mine? So I can do whatever I want with it right?", Sunghoon snatched the box from Migyung's hand before throwing it inside the trash can. Everyone gasped by his actions.

Migyung took a step backward before running outside from the class.
She couldn't handle the embarrassment anymore. She could hear Hani calling her name but she couldn't turn around since many people are looking at her.

She went inside the changing room before slamming the door shut. She covers her face with her palm as her hair began to mess up.

"I'm so dumb....giving a present? To that cold jerk? What did I humiliate myself infront of everyone....I thought I was doing a good thing as a friend....but I was not.....", she mumbles to herself and hugged her knees.

Hani knocked on the door multiple times but Migyung never opens it.

"I'll wait for you out here Migyung, come out if you need me....", Hani sat down on the cold floor before resting her head on the wall.

Migyung didn't answer her, it was like her jaw is locked up....

In the classroom...

"What is wrong with you? Yelled at her infront of everyone?!", Jake whisper yelled at Sunghoon as he rolls his eyes and gave him a death stare. He didn't say anything.

"Stop giving me that look and say something. What is wrong with you? Can't you be nice just for once? Or be nice to Migyung?", Jake raised his voice a bit.

"Why do you suddenly care? You used to ignore all the things I did to other girls....", Sunghoon crossed his arms.

"Stop comparing to other girls, talk about what you just did to Migyung"

"Why? Do you like her or something?"

"Wha-No that's not what I meant, Hoon. What I meant is, why did you threw away the gift she gave?"

"Gift? Tsk, it's a piece of junk now"

"Park Sunghoon!"

Jake yelled as everyone flinched. This is the first time someone yelled at Sunghoon. No one ever dares to do that except Jake. Jungwon just sat a table behind Jake, feeling very scared about what's happening. He couldn't do anything.

"Ugh sh*t come with me!", Jake grabbed the gift box from the trashcan before grabbing Sunghoon's wrist. He yanked him outside from the class before entering the nearest restroom. There's no one in there so Jake closed the door and locked it.

"Yah are you crazy?! You yelled at me just because of the f*cking girl?!"

"Park Sunghoon! Will you stop being such an a**hole for once!?"

Sunghoon was too stunned to speak. His jaw is locked up and his voice can no longer come out.

"When will you change? I'm tired of you. I'd always feels like running away from you......But.....you helped me alot. You're such a nice person to me.....I considered you as my close friend, I don't know if you feel the same too. But why can't you treat others just like you treat me and Jungwon? Why?"

"Wha—"

Sunghoon didn't get to answer when Jake cuts him off.

"Let's talk about that later but right now.....I want you to open this"

Jake said and handed him the gift box that Migyung gave him.

"No wa—"

"Open the f*cking gift....."

Sunghoon sighed and takes it from Jake's hand. He began to open it annoyingly. As soon as he saw what it is, he stopped.

"Don't you see how lucky you are right now? Don't you appreciate that expensive gift that you just threw it in the trash can? Was it worth it?", Jake leaned his back against the wall while crossing his arms, looking directly into his eyes.

Sunghoon went silence.

"So you're stunned to speak now huh? Alright, I'll give you time to.....think....? I guess..."

Jake gave him a last glare before opening the door. There's many people outside that was trying to eavesdrop their conversation, and they had been caught by Jake as soon as he opens the door. Jake rolls his eyes and walked pass them, leaving Sunghoon inside the restroom.
