"I swear it was plugged in last night! I didn't remember how I slept! Doctor, you can't blame me for this. Someone is sabotaging us!",

"Doctor, you can't just blame Mrs. Cho. You have to check the cctv. Maybe she's right", said the other nurse.

"Okay, let's settle this case later. But right now......"

"How do I inform her son ?"

Migyung rolled over the soft mattress, feeling a light shining through her face. She rubbed her eyes and looked at the curtains that is slightly opened causes the sun to enter the room. The digital clock on the nightstand shows it's 7:30 p.m.

She better get ready or else she would be late for school.......

Migyung's POV

It's history class, the subject that everybody hates accept Sunghoon. He's the only one that looks alive during class. No wonder why he's smart. He even came to school even after what happened yesterday. I blinked my eyes multiple times when I realised that I was staring at him. What was I thinking? I continued to focus on the teacher even though I couldn't understand what he's saying.

"Okay, here's the notes. You shall do your work", the teacher said before sitting on his seat.

Our history teacher likes to just explain the topic and ask everyone to do our own revisions about the topic. I kind of like that. He doesn't force us just like the other teachers do. Ugh....that's why I will never get good grades, I'm too lazy....

Suddenly my phone beeped which disturbs my focus. I looked around to see if anyone's watching. But suddenly someone's phone rang, but I just ignored it but turns out it was Sunghoon's phone. He asked for an excuse and stand outside the door. I frowned when my phone beeped at the same time when his phone rang.

I opened the message which is from my mom and read it. I jumped out of my seat when I read the message.

"Migyung? What's wrong?", someone asked.

"Migyung honey.....Mrs. Park is gone....."

I quickly looked outside and saw Sunghoon running towards the hallway. I panicked and quickly ran outside without asking for the teacher's permission. I could hear the teacher screaming my name but I didn't stop.

The news was really shocking and heartbreaking.....

I arrived outside and searched for Sunghoon. Tears already fell off my cheeks. My heart is pounding so fast and it felt like it was about to broke into pieces. Poor Sunghoon.....I saw him getting inside a taxi. I was about to run towards him until someone pulled my wrist.

"Migyung! What's wrong? Why are you guys running?", it was Jake.

I couldn't speak. I was already sobbing like crazy.

"He....he....h-his mo-"

I didn't get to finish my sentence when Jake suddenly hugged me

"Shh...relax okay...don't cry", he said while caressing my back.

"Migyung, can you tell us what's wrong?", Jungwon asked while handing me a tissue. Jake broke the hug.

"H-His mom..."

" She's gone....."

"WHAT?!"

"F*ck, f*ck, f*ck! Mom!", Sunghoon swore on top of his lungs. How could he swore in front of his lifeless mother?

Jake and Jungwon tried to call him down but he kept pushing them away. They have no choice but to just watch him crying in pain. They are also crying. They had known Sunghoon for a long time so they know how close he is with her mother. While Sunghoon's on her mom's right, Mrs. Lee is on her left, also crying like crazy. Migyung just sat behind all of them and pursed her lips, trying not to cry.

"Mom please you're still alive mom please don't do this to me!", he began to shake her body as the doctors tried to calm him down.

"H-How?! She was okay yesterday!", Sunghoon asked the nurses and the doctor. All of the nurses gulped except the doctor.

"Yes, she was fine yesterday but last night, her oxygen level went down and her heart started to get worse. I tried my best to save her....I'm sorry.....", the doctor hung his head low.

He lied.
He doesn't want to tell the truth.
He doesn't want to end up in jail.
Everything was a mistake.
He didn't know that it could happen.
He didn't know.......

his son is the one who did it....
