Chapter 5

     "How's your school today?"

A voice spoke as a figure stood at the door with his back leaning against it.

"Good", Migyung replied, while focusing on her ipad, watching k-drama.

"Nothing happened in school? Such as celebration of your homecoming?", he walk towards her before sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Nope, just a normal school day", she took a slight sigh and paused the drama she was watching.

"What were you expecting?", she crossed her arms and looked at her 21 years old big brother who works at their dad's company.

"Pfft, just say that you're not popular....", he rolled his eyes making her glare at him.

"Yah....do you have a death wish?"

He chuckled and acted like he was scared of her younger sister. Older brother love to tease their younger siblings.

Ugh....he makes me think about what happened at school.....

FLASHBACK

     "Did you just hit her Jason?"

The guy with unique shoe's name is Jason. He looks Korean but have an American name.

"It's just a slight push, why do you care? Do you have something? You know coach says no dating, your competition is near. Why did coach picked you anyways? You're worthless, you don't deserve to get that position, I'm the one who supposed to dance with the ice queen—"

Before he could finish his words, Sunghoon slammed his books on the locker making everyone flinch.

"Get the f*ck away from my sight....GO AWAY YOU A**HOLE!", Sunghoon yelled as both of the goblins ran away.

Migyung gulped and looked at Sunghoon.

"Thank you...I—"

"I didn't even wanna help you, go away", Sunghoon said.

Migyung looks down and walked away. Sunghoon aggressively opens his locker and suddenly the hall filled with a scream.

"BUGS!"

Migyung turns around and saw Sunghoon on the ground screaming in fear.

"Sunghoon!"

Migyung ran to his locker and took off her scarf before hitting his locker to scare the bugs away. She double checked if she got all the bugs away before getting on her knees, facing Sunghoon.

"Sunghoon?"

She was so brave to hold his shoulder and comfort him after what he did to her.

"Sunghoon are you okay?"

"Just......"

".......go away......Migyung", he said in a soft tone.

"Okay, okay I'll go", Migyung stands up and began to walk away from him.

She took a last glance of him before heading outside the school. What is wrong with him? Does he even wants to be friends with anyone?

"Lee Mino! Lee Migyung! Come down and eat dinner!", their mom yelled at the speaker at her room. She clicked the button as both of them answered 'okay mom'.

"Race you to the lift!", Mino said and ran outside.

"Yah! Stop right there!"

Mino ran inside the lift and quickly pushed the buttons aggressively. Migyung ran as fast as she could as she almost reached the lift. She know she couldn't make it so she have to bring up with an idea.

"Ouch oppa my leg!", she squealed as Mino quickly opens the lift door.

"Migyung are you ok—", without his could finish his words, she hurriedly ran inside the lift and smiled proudly.

"Aish....you....", Mino rolled his eyes.

"That's why I watch k-drama, to improve my acting skills", Migyung winked and laughed.

"Okay, okay you win this time......but who comes out first is the real winner!"

The door slide opens as they quickly trying to get out from there first, the door is too small for both of them. They caused the lift to shake.

"Yah yah! You two! Are you going to break the lift or what?", Mrs. Lee, their mom appeared while holding a spatula.

"Oh mom, sorry it was Oppa's fault", Migyung chuckled as she ran to the kitchen.

"This kids....", Mrs. Lee shook her head and walk towards the kitchen.

"Where's dad?", Mino asked.

"He's upstairs, he said he's kinda sick so he needs to rest", Mrs. Lee answered.

Mrs. Lee was packing some foods in a container and her actions making Migyung feel curious.

"Who's that for?", she asked.

"This? Oh it's for my friend who lives not so far from here. I've already asked your brother to bring them to her right dinner. You can follow him if you want, right Mino?", Mrs. Lee replied.

"Yeah, and then I will leave you on the street"

"MOM!"

"Mino, stop scaring her"

"Okay my beloved sister, I'm sorry", Mino said in a mocking tone while pinching her cheeks.

"Get your hands off me....I wanna come, I want to buy some ice cream....", Migyung said.

"By the way, do we know your friend, mom?", Mino asked.

"Oh maybe not, but her son is in the same school as Migyung", Mrs. Lee said.

"Really? Who?", Migyung said before drinking a glass of orange juice.

"Park Sunghoon"

Migyung gasped and spat the water on Mino's face.

"WHAT?"

"PARK SUNGHOON?!"
