Chapter 9

"Go home", Sunghoon said as he threw a plastic into a dustbin.

     Migyung still hasn't spoke since Sunghoon carried her. The way he put the bandage on her knee makes her heart melt for some reason. Sunghoon is not THAT type of guy who cares about someone else.

FLASHBACK

   After a few seconds waiting, he ran back towards her with a bandage. He sat next to her and asked her to lift her leg up to his lap. She hesitates to do it so he lift her leg up and put it on his lap. She was too stunned to speak. She couldn't do anything, it's like her body movements are locked up.

Sunghoon slowly wipes the blood with a clean napkin before putting the bandage.

"Done", he said as her leg is still on his lap.

"T-Thank you....", said Migyung, while shivering cold.

"Hm", he simply responded.

He's cold but still helped me though....what is wrong with him?

Suddenly he opens his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. She was 2X stunned to speak. Why did he suddenly care about her?

END OF FLASHBACK

"Um Sunghoon you don't have to—"

"Just shut up. I didn't help you because I cared about you. It's because your mom and I are close, if I leave you then you would probably tell your mom about it....", Sunghoon rolled his eyes as he brushes back his wet hair.

Damn that's hot—WHAT NO MIGYUNG WTH ARE YOU SAYING.

Migyung blinked her eyes multiple times and cleared her throat. Suddenly she remembers about the phone. She decided to give it to him now.

"Ohh Sunghoon I actua—"

Her sentence got cut off when a porsche stopped in front of her.

"Miss Migyung! Let's go now before your parents realise that you're not at home! Come in right now or you're dead!", the driver had found Migyung. She sigh as relief but at the same time she's scared.

"B-but I want to—"

"There's no time!"

"O-Okay....", Migyung looked at Sunghoon before giving back his jacket as she walked inside the car.

As the car was about to drive away, she waved at Sunghoon but however, he just looks at her blankly and doesn't wave to her back. She pursed her lips and slowly puts her hand down.

Well....that guy had made me soooo embarrassed....

The Next Day...

Migyung walked inside the school with a bright smile on her face. She felt so excited to come to school today. After what happened yesterday, she felt like there's nothing to worry about. She thought that Sunghoon hates her, but he's actually not since he helped her yesterday.

There's a bright blue box with a turquoise ribbon on it. She even put a note on it. Don't you see how cute and sweet she is? The receiver better keep the present well.

"Hi Migyung! What's that?", Hani appeared as she pointed at the box Migyung's holding. Migyung smiled and asked her to come closer for her to whisper. Hanie nodded and went closer.

"It's a brand new phone for Sunghoon", Migyung whispered as Hani's mouth widens.

"Are you serious?", she whisper yelled.

"Yes of course!"

"Why though? This is so sudden", Hani said.

"Um it's a long story—"

"Make it short"

"Oh okay um....he helped me yesterday so I want to give him this as a payback", Migyung said and opens the box so Hanie could see what's in there.

"Iphone 11! Dang that cold monster is lucky", Hani said and crossed her arms.

"HAHA cold monster? He wasn't that cold yesterday....", Migyung said in a low tone.

"Huh?", Hani frowned.

"U-Um nothing! Let's get into our class shall we?", Migyung said and pulled her arms before yanking her towards their class.

When they stepped in the class, they saw Sunghoon sits at his seat alone just like usual. There's just a few people here so Migyung took this opportunity to give the gift to him.

"Oh hey Migyung, hey Hani", Jake greeted as they greet him back.

"What's on your hand?", Jungwon asked as he tried to touch it but Migyung backed away.

"It's for Sunghoon", Hani said and smirked. Migyung hit her shoulder caused her whine.

"For Sunghoon? Um.....are you guys pranking us or....?", Jake said in confusion.

"Haha you must be so clueless, I'll tell you guys later", Migyung said and walks away.

Jungwon and Jake was still dumbfounded. How can people change so fast?

"Hani, what's that thing for? Are they dating or what? What is that?", Jungwon asked her so many questions.

"Haha.....that's a gift....because.....some reason you can ask her for yourself....and it's.....", Hani signalled them to come closer. They went closer.

"It's a brand new Iphone 11", she whispered.

"W-what? An Iphone 11?!", Jungwon squealed making everyone look towards him.

"Shhh slow down....yeah it is....just wait until Sunghoon accepts it....", Hani said as three of them pay attention to Migyung and Sunghoon.

Both of them were talking pretty normal.

"Wow they're talking....but why with his face though?", Jungwon spoke.

"He's always like that right.....", Hani responded.

Jake put his hands inside his pockets, focusing on what they're doing. He didn't spoke much because he knew there's something off about it. Migyung suddenly giving Sunghoon a gift? She gave a gift to someone who always treats her like she was nothing?

Suddenly everyone who's minding their own business got distracted when......

"STOP ACTING LIKE WE'RE CLOSE, MIGYUNG!"
