Chapter 28

FLASHBACK

"Thanks man", a guy who's wearing a hoodie with his head covering his face said. Taking a sachet of 'something' from the person's hand.

"No problem man, tell me if you need more", Ji responded and pats the man's back. The man nodded along with a smirk. He then walks away, leaving the dark alley. Suddenly someone approached him from afar. He chuckled and took out another sachet from his bag.

"New customer", Ji said to himself and walked towards the figure.

"Hey man, 10000 won each sachets", he showed the sachet to guy. He couldn't see the guy's face. The guy remains silence.

"So....this is your work?", a familiar voice spoke out of nowhere. He looked around to see who it is. The guy earlier ran away. Ji felt so confused as he was trying to find the owner of the voice.

"I'm here, Ji"

"J-Jason...."

Jason walked towards him with a big disappointment on his face.

"I can't believe you...."

"J-Jason, this is not—"

"Not what? Not what I think? Seriously my bestfriend is a drug dealer Oh my god!", Jason pushed Ji so hard causing his back to hit the wall.

"Stop this....or..."

"Or what? You're not going to be able to do anything", Ji pushed him away.

"Oh I do, I've got so many evidence...."

Ji went silent.

"I may have snapped many photos of you drug dealing"

"What?! Delete it now!"

"What if I don't? Um I'm thinking about posting and show it to your father. I can't believe you're like this. I can't wait to see the peoples at school's reaction. An innocent Ji is actually a drug dealer", Jason said along with a slight chuckle.

"Please! No!"

"I won't if you stop doing this...."

"It's hard!"

"What's hard?!"

"To quit, I have to pay my boss if I want to quit"

"How much?"

"1000000 won"

"I'll pay it"

He wouldn't think that he'll get out from this awful job. But thankfully, Jason helped him. His only friend he has....

"Thank you Jason"

"Okay"

Then, that's the day, Ji quits being a drug dealer. With Jason's help.

But now, he still kept Ji's pictures and uses it as an advantage.

Ji will never get away with it.

Jason got all the power.

Author's POV

    "So, do you agree to stay with us?", Mrs. Lee asked as Sunghoon hung his head low, avoiding an eye contact.

"I understand if you don't want to", Mrs. Lee added when she earned so response from him.

"Mrs. Lee, I really appreciate your offer but I'm not ready to stay at a new place. Give me some time to move on, then I'll accept it...I'm sorry Mrs. Lee", Sunghoon spoke.

"It's okay, we understand you. Well we've got to go, see you next time", Mino smiled and patted Sunghoon's shoulder.

"Thanks, see you", Sunghoon said and escorted them to the front door. Mino and Mrs. Park walked out as Sunghoon closed the door and let out a heavy sigh.

He looked around the house. It's so quiet.

I missed hearing mom's voice....

A sound of her cooking....

Smelling her delicious food....

The atmosphere is not the same anymore.

    Sunghoon walked towards the store room and grabbed a vacuum. He's planning on cleaning the place a bit. It was kind of dusty even though he just missed only one day cleaning. He took all the picture frames of his mom and put it inside a box. He's not ready to look at it everyday. Everytime he sees her face, a tear dares to come off.

    While peacefully cleaning the areas of the house, his phone suddenly rang. He didn't think about answering but he could see Jake's ID number popped on the screen from afar. He sighed and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hello, what are you doing?"

"Just cleaning"

"Want some help?"

"Are you free?"

"Yup, I am"

"Sure"

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute hehe"

"Okay okay", Sunghoon chuckled.

The call ended. Sunghoon places his phone back to where it was. Jake helps him alot. That's why Sunghoon always count on him. Jake is the one who always trust. Jungwon too, but unfortunately Jake and Sunghoon couldn't get to spend time with Jungwon more since he lives with his strict parents.

He laid on the sofa and covers his face with his right arm. He thinks that maybe he should wait for Jake to arrive so the work can be done easily.

After a few minutes....

The sound of the doorbell rang, Sunghoon got out from the sofa and immediately opens the door. Well, he knew who's coming so he didn't hesitate to check first.

"Hey", Jake opens his cap and walked inside when I signalled him to. I closed the door before assisting him about the duties.

"Alright, let's start"

Ji's POV

I can't do this. This is so wrong. I shouldn't have done this in the first place. I don't want to be labelled as a murderer. My dad is a successful doctor, and I'm being a total jerk. I'm a coward. I stared at my phone on the nightstand. I have to think of an idea of how to get rid of Jason's evil plans. I need help.....

And there's only one person who could help me.....

I grabbed my phone and make my way towards dad's room. He's still sleeping so I took his phone and luckily I didn't get caught. I searched for the person's number and dialled it on my phone. As soon as I'm finished, I rushed outside the house and took the car keys. I called the number I just saved.

"Uh hi, it's me, Ji. I know you probably don't want to talk to me. But I want to talk. I'm not playing and I need your help"

"My help? Ugh seriously I'm not falling into any of your trap"

"I'm serious, please. It's about the case.....I want to be honest with you. I'm alone, I'm not with Jason. You will understand if you hear my explanations"

"I don't know....how can I trust you?"

"If you feel uncomfortable or scared. We'll talk about this at an opened area. Like the park? Is that okay? Please, Migyung you're the only one who could help me....."

"Okay, I trust you this time. But if you do anything to me, I have my bodyguards with me"

"Yes, okay. But please right now...."

"Okay okay....I'm going now"

"Thank you so much! I'll be there too"

I hung up and a soft smile forms on my lips. Thankfully she trusts me. I can't wait to tell her the truth and I want to be safe......from Jason's traps.....
