Chapter 20

Migyung's POV

I looked down while playing with my fingers while Sunghoon is sobbing besides me. My brain really wants me to comfort him but my heart tells me not to. I kept stealing a glance on him even though he's covering his face.

Everything that happened....

It wasn't my fault right?

I didn't know anything...

So I can comfort him, that's what a true friend do.

I turned my head facing him. He was still covering his face. His hair is so messy and wet. I could see sweats dripping on his neck. I felt so bad for him so I stand up and took a seat near him.

   He realised that there's a movement beside him so he took a slight glance before looking away.

"What?", he said, not looking at me.

"I'm sorry....", that's the only sentence I could say.

"Sorry for what? You've already ruined everything, go the f*ck away", Sunghoon replied which makes me so confused.

What did I do wrong?

"Sunghoon, I also didn't know about it"

"Liar, stop the act"

"I'm telling the truth, mom didn't even told me about it. Trust me, I was shocked just like you did—"

"I don't want to hear anything else coming out from you mouth! Go the f*ck away from me!", he suddenly raised his voice making everyone flinched. All eyes on us now.

I stood there is silence, didn't even dare to speak or move. Everyone is staring at us....

"Are you deaf?! I said go!", he said and pointed towards the exit.

"Miss, Sir is everything alright?", a nurse hurriedly came over.

"No, I'm not alright unless she's no longer on my sight", he answered and before the nurse could do anything, I turned around and walks away when I realised that a tear was about to fall.

   I looked at everyone who's staring at me scarily. I wipe my tears and starting to jog towards the exit. Suddenly, I saw mom and Mino. They walked towards me as soon as they saw me.

  I glared at mom and walked pass them.

"Migyung honey are you—"

"Don't touch me mom! Why do you even care? You've ruined my life!", I yanked her hands away and continues my tracks.

Mino's POV

"Don't touch me mom! Why do you even care? You've ruined my life!", I was so shocked when those words came out of Migyung's mouth. She had never said something like that to mom. Mom was so shocked. I looked at her and held her shoulder.

"I'll go get her, you can visit Mrs. Park. It's okay, I can handle her", I said before chasing her.

"Migyung"

"What?!", she yanked my hands away as soon as I caught her.

"What's wrong? If it's about the marriage thing, I know mom didn't mean it this way"

Migyung froze when I said that. Yes, I knew it yesterday.

"You knew?!"

"Y-Yes I do! I had to agree with it. Maybe it's the best for you"

"Best for me?! Are you kidding me?! I can't believe all of you! Sunghoon hates that plan!", Migyung trunes around and began to run again. I was about to chase her until she hit a kid that's passing by. But she continues to run, not even caring.

"Hey, sorry kiddo", I helped him up and bowed before bringing my attention back to Migyung but unfortunately she's gone.

I run my fingers on my hair due to the frustration. I sat on a bench near me and covers my face with my palm. I took out my phone and tried to call Migyung many times but she would never pick up.

Why was she so angry about it?

I stood up and walked inside the hospital and search for mom. Luckily she's not too far away. She's sitting on a seat near to Sunghoon. I smiled softly and sat between them.

"Where's Migyung?", mom asked.

"I couldn't manage to find her, she ran away", I looked down.

Author's POV

"I couldn't manage to find her, she ran away", Mino said to her mom as Sunghoon was eavesdropping.

"I felt so bad....Sunghoon. Are you okay? I'm sorry...", Mrs. Lee said as Sunghoon looks at her blankly.

"It's okay Mrs. Lee", Sunghoon answered.

"So, are you fine with it?", Mrs. Lee asked making he raise his eyebrows.

"With what?", he questioned.

"About the marriage"

Sunghoon went silence as he looks away.

"Why would I agree?", he said to himself.

"Hello? Sunghoon do you hear me?", Mrs. Lee spoke again.

Sunghoon stayed silence.

"Migyung didn't know about it too, only me, my mom and your mom knew. I didn't know you guys would be so upset. We thought you both were close", Mino interrupted after his mother's earned no response from Sunghoon.

Sunghoon finally looks at both of them.

"Migyung....really don't know? Isn't she the one who planned the whole thing?", Sunghoon asked. Mino and his mom looked at each other, confused.

"Why did you think of that?", Mrs. Lee asked.

"You hate her aren't you?"

Sunghoon froze when those words suddenly came out of Mino's mouth.

"Mino what—", Mrs. Lee was about speak until Mino cuts her off.

"I knew it already...."

"Do you think I didn't know what happened at the first time we've met?"
