Chapter 33

"Why didn't you just tell us about it in the first place?"

Mino spoke as everyone was looking at Migyung, focused. She was shaking. The police officer also waited for her response.

"W-Well I though it w-would be a better idea to—"

"It's not a better idea. It's the worse idea for me. You even met Ji even though you know what happened. You're also in this aren't you?", Sunghoon cuts her words off.

Everyone looked at each other confused after what Sunghoon just said.

"W-What? No. The reason I met him that day....."

"That's.....a good explanation miss. So that's why that Ji guy said he was also involved but forced. I've asked Jason about the reasons why he did that. Do you want me to tell you or you want to talk to him yourself?", the police officer said.

Migyung looked at Sunghoon and wait for him to respond. He stands up before putting his hands inside his pockets.

"I'll talk to him, alone", he answered.

"Alright, follow me sir. The others will follow Mr. Lim", the police officer said before walking outside from the room while Sunghoon follows him from behind.

"Follow me", Mr. Lim said as everyone except Sunghoon follows him towards somewhere.

"They can't see us?", Mino asked while touching the big glass.

"Yes, it's tinted outside but not inside so we could see them but they couldn't", Mr. Lim said.

There's Jason, sitting on a chair wearing prisoner's clothes with handcuffs on. He looked so stressed.

Then the door swung opens, revealing Sunghoon with the police officer that escorted him there. Everyone behind the giant glass waited nervously.

"Jason", Sunghoon called out his name.

Jason rolled his eyes and stomped his feet.

"F*ck you", Jason cursed.

Sunghoon sat infront of him calmly. Jason avoid eye contacts from him.

"I guess you should start now", Sunghoon said.

"Start what?", Jason replied annoyingly.

"Explain why you killed my mom"

Jason scoffed.

"Why should I—AH!", Jason screamed when he got electric shocked.

"What happened?", Mrs. Lee asked.

"The handcuffs has electric shock. It shocks the prisoner every time they refused to explain", Mr. Lim explained as everyone nodded.

"Explain", said the police officer who's standing right behind Sunghoon.

"Ugh...! F-Fine! I killed her because I was jealous of you! It would be a better idea if I just kill you, but that would be so hard so I thought of an easy way. I heard that your mom was at the hospital in critical condition so I took the opportunity", Jason said. His expression tells that he's not guilty at all.

"What do you feel if I did the same thing to you?", Sunghoon asked.

"Well, I don't have a mom"

"Your dad?"

"I hate him"

Everyone gone silenced.

"You really don't feel bad at all? After what you did?"

"Nope, it's a good thing I did. And it's easy. I just pulled the oxygen plug and oopss....she's gone", Jason smirked.

    Sunghoon had lose his patience so he punched him in the face causing him to fall on the ground.

"YOU F*CKING BASTARD"

Sunghoon was about to punch him again but the police officer pulled him outside.

"Calm down, sir"

"But he had crossed the limit!"

"I know, I know, calm down...."

The police officer managed to calm him down and signalled him to have a seat. He couldn't take it so he asked for an excuse to go to the restroom so he could cry in there. But before he could reach the door, he collapsed and ended up kneeling on the floor, covering his face while sobbing.

"Why....why.....", he said between sobs.

Migyung's POV

     As soon as we walked out, I saw Sunghoon walking towards the hallway. He looks like he was crying. I really want to comfort him so so bad. But does he want me to comfort him?

I sneakily follow him from behind, watching him struggling to walk until he kneeled on the floor. I could hear his sobs. I clenched my fist, forcing myself not to go to him. But I lose, I ran to him before hugging him from behind.

"Sunghoon....don't cry...."

"Migyung go—"

"No! I'm not....letting you go", I cupped his cheeks before wiping his tears. Then, I hugged him again while caressing his back. I really want to comfort him. Even though he hates me, but I love him.

"Shh.....I'm here...I'm sorry", I said, and realized that my tears began to fell. I closed my eyes and pursed my lips, preventing myself from crying even harder.

"I'm sorry Sunghoon, I swear I didn't mean it this way. Please forgive me....", I said between sobs.

I tried to hold it, but I cried even more when he hugs me back.....
