Chapter 4

Sunghoon POV

I took off my socks before placing them at the bench. It was tiring. The best moment when Coach Jen finally gave me time to rest after a long practice . Coach Jen became more serious since the competition is near.

"Go home and rest Sunghoon, you have more practice tomorrow", Coach Jen appeared from nowhere making me flinch a bit, but I still managed to nod as response.

"Where are you planning to go after?", Coach Jen asked.

"Oh I'm heading to school to grab some of my paperworks from my locker", I answered.

"Okay, have a rest right after okay", Coach Jen said while patting my shoulder before taking a step outside the room.

Author pov

"Hey Migyung, are you heading home?", said Hani as she was packing her stuffs from her locker same as Migyung.

"Oh yeah, are you? My dad's driver will arrive any soon", Migyung replied, while closing her locker.

"Okay, let's head outside together", Hanis said and linked her arms with Migyung in an adorable way making Migyung chuckles at her cuteness.

"Do you have plans this weekend?"

"Or you have some homework to do?"

"Should we go out sometimes?"

Hani said and Migyung was distracted by two guys who looked suspicious. They walked at a locker and does something to it, and she can't clearly see it since their back is facing her.

"Um Hani you can go home first, I forgot about something", Migyung said and pushed Hani outside before she could even ask about what's happening.

Two of the guys surprisingly didn't see Migyung who's hiding behind the wall near them. She took a slight peek to see what they're doing. She gasped and quickly covers her mouth when she saw what they're doing.

They are about to put bugs in that locker! Migyung clenched her fist and took a deep breathe. She really wants to face this bullies by herself. She looks down and saw something that made her goes into a quick flashback.

White shoe with golden stripes...?

Isn't he....the guy and his friend who I eavesdropped earlier this morning?

Are they messing with Sunghoon's locker?

No they can't get away with it!

I shouldn't interfere with this kind of thing, but Sunghoon is my classmate, I should help him.

But first I'll take some pictures as proof.

Migyung took out her phone and didn't hesitate to take their pictures but....

Oh shoot! I forgot to put it on mute!

"Who's there?", the guy suddenly spoke making her heart beats fast.

She shuts down her phone and in count of three, she ran as fast as she can. But of course two of the guys chased her and caught her since both of them are athletes.

"What do you think you're doing hm?", the guy who grabs her wrist spoke.

Migyung looks at them and yanked her hands away from him.

"Wait, Migyung right?", the other guy recognised her while the other one was confused.

"What? You know her?", the guy with the 'extraordinary' shoes asked confusedly.

"Yes! She's CEO Lee's daughter! You had came back Migyung!", the guy said.

"Okay who cares"

The other respond making his friend's expression changed.

"The thing is, what were you doing?"

Migyung gulped and tries to find a way to run.

"Um....OH PRINCIPAL!", she screamed and waved behind them as they quickly turns their head and saw nothing.

Migyung managed to run again with full speed. She kept looking her back since both of the scary mens are chasing her.

"Aish this the most bad decision I've ever made", she makes a u-turn and took off one shoe and throw it on the opposite way. She hid behind the walls and peeked her head to see those two goblins.

She sigh as relief when they went to the other way because of the shoe. She walked out and took her shoe before running back inside the school. She looks around and went to Sunghoon's locker. She peeked inside the hole to see if they managed to put many bugs in there but she couldn't see it since it's dark.

She took out her phone and turned on the flashlight. While being absolutely exhausted and sweaty, she still wants to get rid of it. She peeked slowly and doesn't want to get jumpscared by the bugs.

"What the f*ck are you doing?"

"AH!"

She screamed and turn to look at the tall person who's standing behind her with his hands inside his pockets.

"S-Sunghoon....i-it's just—"

"There she is!"

Suddenly two of the guys appeared again. They ran towards Migyung and looked at Sunghoon.

"Oh hey Sunghoon", they waved and acted nice infront of him.

"Move", Sunghoon pushed her away and was about to open his locker until Migyung stop him.

"Wait! Um let me open it for you", she snatched the key from his hand and quickly tries to opens it.

"Yah! What are you doing?! I can do it myself!", Sunghoon said while trying to get the keys back.

"Girl, what are you trying to do? Are you his admirer or something?", the guy with the unique shoes spoke as Migyung glared at him.

Aish what do I do?

Should I just tell him about them?

No he will never trust me unless I show him the picture but it's going to be waste of time, he probably won't give me a chance.

"Just give me my f*cking keys", Sunghoon said.

"No um—"

"Yah just give it to him!", the guy began to push her making her back hits the locker.

Sunghoon who saw what's happening he immediately raised his arm infront of Migyung, like protecting her.

"Did you just hit her?"
