Chapter 17

Migyung finally opened her eyes after passing out for 2 hours. She looked at her surroundings. Then she realised that she's in a hospital ward. There's also a guy who's resting his head next to her at the edge of the bed.

"Mino?", she mumbles softly and tried to get up.

Mino immediately wake up and was shocked to see her sister has woken up.

"Migyung! Finally you're awake. How are you feeling?", he said and help me getting up.

"Me? What do I feel? Um...I don't know.....I-I feel like my head is heavy", Migyung answered as she touches her head.

"Then lay back down", Mino pushed her back to her previous position.

Migyung looks at him confuse but she didn't move and just stay on the position.

"Is the school okay?", Migyung asked as her voice cracked a bit.

She touches her neck as she felt a pain on her throat. Mino realises it and immediately pours some plain water into a glass.

"Water?", he asked.

Migyung nodded and lifted her head as Mino also supported her. She began to drink it slowly until her throat is relieved.

"Thanks", Migyung said.

Mino smiled and nodded before placing the glass back on the table.

"Only you?", Migyung asked.

"Ouh, yes it's just me. The others aren't allowed to visit until you wake up. I'll go inform a doctor before messaging them", Mino got up from his seat and grabbed his brown jacket.

"Them? Who?", Migyung questioned.

Mino stops and looked at her.

"Uh....your friends?"

"Oh....who?"

"Many of them....I don't know just wait, I'll go get a doctor quick", Mino said and opens the door before dashing outside.

Migyung laid on the bed alone, staring at the ceiling. She played with her fingers while biting her lips. Well, she had nothing to do so she stood up and walked towards the huge window while bringing along the stand that is hanging a bag of liquid that is injected to her arm.

She looked around the beautiful view she's seeing. There's many children playing, some of the adults are watching their kids play, and some of them are doctors and nurses who's accompanying their patients. Such a calm and sweet situation down there. She smiled all by herself just by watching them.

Suddenly the door opens making her a bit startled. It's Mino and the doctor.

"Oh hey Miss Migyung can you lay back down please I need to do a bit of checkup before you're free to go", the doctor sweetly smiled and assisted her towards her bed. A nurse who also came took out many items from her pockets.

"Let's start", the doctor said.

"I hope you're fine, Lee Migyung"

      He puts his arms on his forehead while letting out a slight sigh. He really wants to visit Migyung, but he's too ego. He doesn't want people to think that he's suddenly caring towards her. He had never cared about anyone before. If he visit her with the others, they will look suspiciously on him.

"Ugh what's wrong with you Park Sunghoon!", he pulled his bangs and rolls over his bed. He really wanted to go to the hospital but if he do, his 'Ice Cold' image will no longer existed.

He let his palms sit on his face for a few seconds until his phone suddenly rang. He was too lazy to pick it up so he ignored it. But it rang again. He got up and took his phone from his study desk and looked at the caller's ID. It's Jake.

"Hello"

*On the phone*

Jake: Yah, do you want to visit her or not? I can ask my driver to stop by at your house to pick you up.

Sunghoon: Of course not.

He simply answered.

Jake groaned.

Jake: Yah why? What's wrong with you? Did you guys fight? Or do you hate her so much?"

Sunghoon: I don't need to answer all of that, it's wasting my time.

He said in a mocking tone. Jake sigh disbelief.

Jake: Sunghoon, please bro. Why are you like this? What did she do to you?"

Sunghoon: Why do you care so much?

Jake: Because I'm your friend!

Sunghoon: If you're my friend, stop asking me about Migyung. I don't want anything to do with her. If you kept forcing me like this then you're not my f*cking friend!

Then he quickly hung up and tossed his phone inside a drawer before closing it. Sunghoon kind of have angry issues. He gets angry so easily when someone messes with him. That's the thing he can't control. His anger issues had been haunting his life.

"Ugh why did I did that.....to Jake....?"

Sunghoon face palmed himself when he realised that he couldn't control his anger. His anger issues was controlling him earlier.

"I was okay with Migyung, but why do I feel like I shouldn't go near her? Maybe it's because she's surrounded by many good people and I'm just an awful jerk", Sunghoon said to himself.

"I really have to change.....but how....?"

"Is that really possible?"

"Can I manage to change myself?"

"Can I just be......."

"Better?"

Then he realised, a tear fell of his cheek.

"I don't want to be like this.....I want to be normal just like everybody else....."
