Chapter 39

Migyung had just woke up. Hani couldn't stop crying while Jungwon was trying to calm her down. Jake and Sunghoon are at the school's detention, they can't go anywhere until their detention's over. 

"Where's Sunghoon?", that's the first question Migyung asked.

"Seriously Migyung? After what he did to you, you still care about him? Jake protected you, Migyung", Hani said and crossed her arms.

"Hani....", Jungwon signalled her to calm down.

She took a deep breath before exhaling.

"He's still at school with Jake at detention. They'll come soon after I guess....", Hani said.

"Oh...."

"Migyung, why did he slapped you? Who he is though? You helped him and that's what he pays you back?", Hani continued.

"I.....I don't know why he treated me so differently at school. If you want to know, he spends time with me at home. He's the sweetest guy I've ever known", Migyung said as a tear fell off her cheeks.

Jungwon and Hani looked at each other.

"I....I love him....I had put so many efforts to make him love me back, but I didn't know that it would be this hard", she continued.

Meanwhile...

"You heard that loud and clear right?"

Sunghoon looks at Jake as soon as he spoke. Jake crossed his arms as both of them looked back inside from outside the door.

"You better appreciate her and change yourself before it's too late", Jake continued.

"What do you mean?", Sunghoon asked.

"Before I make her mine"

Jake gave him deadly eyes before opening the door and took a step in, left Sunghoon speechless. Sunghoon took a step back before resting his back against the wall. He clenched his fist before punching the wall hardly.

"What is wrong with you?", Sunghoon said to himself.

Few hours later....

"Hey Sunghoon whe—", Mino didn't get to finish his words when Sunghoon pushed him out of the way and hurriedly ran upstairs. Mino who was so curious by his sudden behaviour chased him.

   Sunghoon took his luggage and opened his wardrobe before unload everything from it. Mino walked in and held his shoulder.

"Hey what's wrong calm down", Mino said.

"Stop it!"

"Sunghoon stop!"

Mino pushed him away and grabbed him by his collar.

"What is wrong with you?!", Mino asked as his hands are still gripping on Sunghoon's collar.

Sunghoon slapped his hands away.

"I don't belong here", he said and continues to pack his things. Mino sat there confused.

"Is there anything you want to tell me?", Mino asked.

Sunghoon didn't answer him and completely ignored him. Mino was so upset about it.

"Did you fight with Migyung?"

Sunghoon stopped for a moment. He bit his lips and looked down as tears fell. His knees are getting weak causing him to collapse on the floor. Mino quickly grabbed him and patted his back.

"You know....there is a solution right? Don't do this. Migyung will get so upset...", Mino said.

"No....she already hates me...."

"What do you mean, she doesn't"

"Yes she does....I've made the worse decision ever....", Sunghoon messes with his hair in frustration. Mino frowned.

"What?", Mino questioned.

Sunghoon looked at Mino as he felt nervous to tell him about what he did to Migyung. But it's for the best....

"W-We got into an argument, and I.....I slapped her"

"YOU WHAT!?", Mino stood up.

"I know! I was dumb! I'm sorry for hurting her"

"What the f*ck?The entire years, I had never done something like that to her!", Mino pushed him and he brushed his hair back due to frustration.

"You're such an amazing brother. You deserve her but I don't. That's why I don't belong here", Sunghoon said and ran back to his luggage. Mino groaned and pulled him by his collar once again.

"I have to ask you this once! Do you like her?"

Sunghoon gulped and kept quiet.

"Answer my f*cking question!"

"I love her!"

Mino loosened his grip on Sunghoon's collar and took a step backward. Mino took a deep breath before speaking again

"Truly?"

"Truly...."

Suddenly both of them flinched when the door swung opens revealing Migyung, Jake and Hani. They had just arrived from the hospital and heard everything. Migyung slowly walked towards Sunghoon as a tear fell off her cheek. Sunghoon's eyes softens. Step by step, Migyung is getting near and nearer. Until they're only few inches away from each other.

"Migyung, I'm sor—"

Without getting to finish his words, Migyung slammed her lips onto his and kisses him softly. Sunghoon was completely shocked by her actions but kissed her back after. A smiled formed on Jake and Mino's lips as Hani was getting overly excited and covered her mouth with her palms.

They pulled apart and looked at each other's eyes with full of love and affection.

"Sunghoon.....why didn't you just be honest with me, that you like me?", Migyung asked.

"I'm sorry Migyung. I'm just afraid and felt so scared to tell you my feelings...I just don't know how...", he explained.

"It's okay, you just did it", Migyung smiled.

Sunghoon looks and Mino as he signalled him to ask her to be his girlfriend. Sunghoon took a deep breath before holding both of her hands.

"Lee Migyung...will you be—"

"Yes!"

Sunghoon didn't get to finish his words when Migyung get too over excited.

"Yah let him finish you pabo", Mino pushed her head softly.

"Okay, okay sorry...."

Sunghoon sighed as his heart beats faster than before.

"Lee Migyung, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course!", Migyung hugged him as he hugged her back. Then she released the hug and cupped his cheeks making him smile and patted her head softly.

Migyung scrunches her nose, making him chuckle. A tear dared to fall off Sunghoon's cheek while smiling softly at her as she caresses his cheek with both of her thumbs and admires him.

"Wow....you finally smiled Park Sunghoon...."

"Right, because my smile is only for you..."
