Chapter 11

Sunghoon pov

Why do I feel bad? The thing is, It's just the real me, I always treat people like that and regret is not my thing. But.....why do I feel bad this time? If I accept her gift, people will think I'm a gold digger. Well, I had rejected many other girl's simple gifts. If I don't want to look like a gold digger, I should not accept her gift.

"Ugh why is this stressing me out!", he mumbles to himself as he messes his hair due to frustration.

I looked at the clock to check the time. The next class almost started but Migyung and Hani still hasn't came back. Jake and Jungwon didn't even talk to me ever since the incident. Really? They really just ignored me just because of the girl? Ugh what spell did she cast on them?

Author pov

The teacher enters the classroom as everyone sat on their seat. Jake took a glance at Sunghoon before sitting on his seat. He let out a slight sigh as he takes out his book.

Sunghoon looks at him and sighed. He thinks that Jake need some time. Sunghoon takes out his pencil case. He didn't notice that it was unzipped so a pen fell under Jake's chair. He gasped and face palmed himself.

"Um....Jake..."

Sunghoon said but there are no response.

"Jake....jake!", he whisper yelled.

Jake heard Sunghoon but purposely ignore him.

"Jake! Jake please!", he whisper yelled once again.

Jake squinted his eyes and turned to look at him. He makes an annoyed face.

"What?", he asked annoyingly.

"Um.....can you grab that pen for me?", Sunghoon asked.

It took a few seconds before Jake took the pen and gave it to Sunghoon without saying anything. Sunghoon thanked him and waited for his response. But Jake didn't say anything. He just turned his body around to focus on what the teacher's saying. Sunghoon sighed and opens his book.

"I guess he's still mad....", he said to himself.

"Oh wait....um 27, 28? Why is there only 28 students here? Who's not here?", the teacher asked.

"Um....it's Hani and Migyung...", a student said.

"Oh, where did they go?"

"Um.....", the student stopped his sentence and gulped. He somehow feels scared to tell her the truth. He could see Sunghoon is looking at him with deadly eyes.

"U-uh...I-I don't know....", the student looks down, avoiding an eye contact.

"So no one is going to tell where they are. They're skipping class isn't it? Alright I'll call their guardians right now", the teacher took out her mobile phone without any hesitation. While she was about to dial the number, someone spoke.

"No, Miss Ara, they went to the restroom, they had asked me for permission earlier", Jake said.

"Oh really? Then why didn't you tell me earlier? Are you telling the truth? You're lying isn't it?", Miss Ara crossed her arms and lowered down her glasses. Miss Ara is known as the most KAREN teacher in the school.

"No Miss I—"

Jake stopped as soon as Migyung and Hani entered the class. He sigh as relief when he no longer have to answer all of Miss Ara's questions.

"Well look who's here. Where have you been? I don't care about a word you both have to say but now you're 6 minutes late for my class and I will never accept an apology unless you both go to your places and don't sit down! Plus, you have to hold your seats on top of your heads the rest of my class, GO!", Miss Ara said as Migyung and Hani went to their seats. Everyone looks at them and felt bad. Miss Ara always give their students an extreme punishment instead of sending them to detention.

Migyung and Hani looked at each other before lifting their seats up. It's so heavy since it is made of metal. As soon as Migyung realises how heavy it was, she puts it back down causes it to make loud noise. She gasped and squinted her eyes after what mistake she had made.

"Migyung! Who can you permission to put down your chair? STAND ON YOUR SEAT!", Miss Ara yelled as everyone gasped. It's so inappropriate for her to stand on her seat since she's wearing a skirt. Everyone there can get distracted by her tights especially the who's sitting behind her, Park Sunghoon!

"Um Miss Ara, that's not—", Jungwon spoke but his sentence got cut off when a pen flew and hit his forehead. He whines in pain.

"Shut up! Don't interfere! Stand up now!", Miss Ara yelled as Migyung looks like she was about to cry. Hani was so shocked to see her getting forced to do that. Everyone wants to stop her but they couldn't.

Migyung gulped and pulled the chair closer. She looks at Sunghoon who's looking down with no expression like nothing is happening. She took a deep breathe before stepping on the chair until suddenly....

"Stop!", a deep voice spoke.

Everyone looks at the person. It's Jake.

"What's wrong Jake? Do you want to join her?", Miss Ara asked and slyly smirked. Ugh I wish I could punch her.

Jake didn't answer her but quickly opens his jacket. Everyone gasped as the girls started to go crazy. He walked towards Migyung and wrapped the jacket around her hips. Her eyes widens.

"Here, now she's safe", Jake bowed and went back to his seat.

Migyung didn't realised that she was staring at him. His actions makes her heart melt.

"Okay Migyung you're not in a korean drama, stand on your seat now", Miss Ara said and rolled her eyes.

Migyung nodded and didn't hesitate to do it. She feels so much comfortable now. She said.....

Jake is such a gentleman....

This is the kind of friend I want....

Why can't Sunghoon be like him?
