Chapter 31

"Oppa, let's not talk about this"

Migyung looks away and covers herself with a pillow. Mino's question somehow makes her feel down.

Do I want to marry him? Why does my brain tells me I want to but my heart says no?

"Migyung, we should talk about this"

"No, even if I want to he would never feel the same", Migyung said, avoiding an eye contact.

As Mino was about to say something, a strike of lightning hits making both of them flinch. The sound of the rain is getting more powerful.

"Dang, it's raining heavily out there. Thank god our house is high up here. But poor people who lives down there", Mino peeked through the huge window.

"What did you said? Do you mean down there will be flooded?"

"Yes"

"Oh no...."

"What oh no?"

"Sunghoon?"

Mino gasped as he covers his mouth. He didn't thought about that in the first place until Migyung mentioned it. She went straight outside her bedroom and ran downstairs. It'll took so long for the elevator to arrive at the floor.

"Migyung! Wait!", Mino yelled as he quickly follows her. Migyung didn't stop.

"Where are you going? It's thunderstorm outside", Mr. Lee appeared from the kitchen along with his wife, Mrs. Lee. Both of them have their worried expression on their faces.

"Mom, Sunghoon must be in danger! We must go now!"

Mrs. And Mr. Lee looked at each other and walked towards her to stop her from going outside.

"Guys! I'm serious we have to go!"

"Migyung relax, sit down please. You can't go out there, it's risky", Mino said and pulls her away from the front door.

"We have to go! Mom, dad, you both have to go with me! Sunghoon is in danger-"

"Migyung"

"What?!"

Mr. and Mrs. Lee looked outside as soon as Mino opens the front door. Migyung turns her body and her eyes lands on a car that stopped infront of the house.....

"Isn't that...."

Migyung ran outside in the rain. She stood there, waiting for someone to come out.

The door opens. Revealing two guys and one of them looked injured while the other guy is helping him. She squinted her eyes to see them more clearly. As soon as she saw who they are, she sigh as relief. It's Jake and Sunghoon.

"Migyung! Come in guys!", Mino ran towards her with an umbrella and dragged her inside as Jake and Sunghoon walked inside with Mrs. Lee's bodyguards.

Jake motioned Sunghoon to sit as he looks at Mr. and Mrs. Lee. He smiled and nodded before slowly tip toe towards the front door. But unfortunately, Sunghoon realises it.

"Where are you going?", he turned as Jake cleared his throat.

"Um, my mom just called and she need some help. It's okay, just stay here and I'll be right back", Jake said and quickly rush outside. Sunghoon was about to scream his name but it's not appropriate to do it in someone's house.

"Uh....me and dad will get some warm towels and clothes for Sunghoon", Mrs. Lee pulled her husband towards the lift. Mino was trying to hold his laugh. Migyung was looking at him, frowning. Why do they looked like they're trying to run away?

"Here's you go, miss", one of the maid handed her an aid box. She was so confused.

Does she want me to treat Sunghoon?

She holds the aid box and looked at Mino. Mino quickly pulled out his phone and acted like someone called him. He signalled Migyung that he wanted to go upstairs for some privacy.

"Not you too?", she whispered.

"Sorry", Mino mumbles before running upstairs.

Now there's only Migyung, Sunghoon and the maids. Well at least the maids are here.....

"Hey can you-", Migyung turns around and they just disappeared with a blink of an eye. Her mouth swung open.

Did they purposely left me alone with Sunghoon?

Migyung close her eyes and took a deep breathe. She then exhales when she heard a groan. She turned and her heart started to beat so fast.

"I-I'll clean the blood first", I grabbed a napkin and put some warm water into bowl. Then I walked towards him.

"Why you're the one doing it? You guys did it on purpose isn't it?"

"N-No I don't-"

"I'm not hurt, get away from me"

Sunghoon was about to stand up until Migyung pushed him back down my pushing his chest. He was stunned to speak.

"Shut up, let me treat you", Migyung wiped all the blood on his feet away.

"Did you stepped on something?"

"Doesn't it look like it? Don't ask some question if you're already knows the answer", Sunghoon rolls his eyes.

How can he be so cruel?

I'm treating him....

"Even if you're helping me, I will never ever be close with someone like you", Sunghoon said.

His words are cutting deeper in my heart. How could he say something like that? Does he still accuses me of planning everything? Why am I the bad side?

Those words, are sharper than a knife. I couldn't control my emotion. It was so painful.

Without realising, a tear fell of Migyung's cheek. She looks down to avoid from Sunghoon to see how weak she is. Is she the one who's weak or Sunghoon's the one who being harsh?

She tried to stop crying but couldn't. She continues to treat him by applying an antiseptic before wrapping his feet with a bandage. A tear fell on his bandage making him realise that she was crying.

"Are you crying?", Sunghoon asked and went lower to see her face.

"Why do you care? I know I'm weak. I'll go now", Migyung packed all the things harshly and was about to walk away untik he grabbed her wrist.

"Why are you crying?", Sunghoon asked but with a soft voice.

Why does he suddenly became soft?

Is he acting like he doesn't know why I cried?

It's because of you selfish cold ice man!

Migyung didn't answer him and yanked is hands away before slamming the aid box on the table and ran upstairs.

Sunghoon looks at her as he slowly mumbles.

"I'm sorry"
