I went through the day ignoring all the comments and ugly stares I usually get. The day went by pretty quick considering its already 8th period math. Hopefully nobody will chase me home today, its a sad way to live yeah but hey, I must deserve it. I was drawing in my notebook when Mr. Hasaway asked me a question "Yes and Jackie do you know what x equals in this equation ?" I don't know that, why would he ask me, I looked up to see a bunch of people staring and some were laughing. "Um, no." I say quietly hoping hell just leave me alone, but of course "He just said it dumbass" Alex said from the back of the classroom. out a overdramatic sigh. "I don't want to go up there sir." I say begging for him to leave me alone. "You should've thought of that before you decided not to listen to my lesson, now let's go." God, if I could throw myself out the window I would. I sit there for a little bit and he did too, giving up I get up as slow as possible and walk taking tiny steps "Let's go Ms. Jackie we don't have all d-" he was cut off by the bell, thank fucking god. I darted to the door and rushed to my locker hopefully I can avoid Jason and his crew today. I gather my books and I close the locker and as I turn to run I smash into a person "Woah there, what's the rush?" He said with a chuckle, I look to see the new boy, David. "Um, sorry." I say trying to avoid the question, and him. He gave me a confused look and I tried walking around him but he grabbed my wrist fuck again with the wrist, I try to hide the pain but he realized it and let go really quick with wide eyes, "I am so sorry. Um, my name is David, I'm new here and I saw you in math today and I'm sorry for what that guy said." He said with a pitiful face. "Um, you shouldn't be, I've heard worse and it wasn't you, and I really should go befor-" I stop myself as I see them. "Before what?" He said trying to look at what I was seeing, I looked around hopefully he wouldn't notice. Jason saw me and I froze I didn't know whether to run or stay there with David. Would David protect me? I decided to do both I grabbed Davids hand and ran towards my house.
