I woke up on the roof, it was still dark outside, it must be early. I climbed over to the window and opened it quietly, I walked in and everything looked the same, except for my wrist. I pulled on a hoodie and some black skinny jeans and walked to the bathroom. But I had tripped on something outside my door, it was David. "Ow, oh hi Jackie." he said and got up. He gave me a really long hug, which I returned until my wrist started to sting. "I need to go to the bathroom." I said and walked off. I went in and locked the door, I washed the dry blood from my wrist, which burned like hell. I pulled my sleeves down and walked back downstairs. "I'm gonna go to, um, school, now." I said to Isobel and she ran over. "No, no, you need breakfast first silly. Do you want me to drive you?" she said pulling me to the kitchen. "No, I'll walk with her mom." David interrupted. Isobel looked at me and I shrugged, I don't want to get kicked out for being rude or anything. "Would you like some cereal? A muffin? Oatmeal?" Isobel asked us. "No thanks, I'm not really hungry." I said as she shook her head. "Jackie, you're going to eat breakfast, now what would you like?" she said in a commanding voice. "Uh- I'll take some cereal I guess." I stuttered out. "Good, now David what do you want?" she looked over at him "I'll take cereal also." he said looking at me with a smile. "Oh okay. Take a seat I'll have it ready in a sec." She said shooing us off. I sat down and immediately put in my headphones. David kept staring at me and soon the cereal came. I took my headphones out to thank Isobel, then I put them back in and spun my cereal in circles. If I eat this, I'll be fatter, David wouldn't like me if I was fat. That girl he was with, she wasn't fat, she was beautiful. I wish I was beautiful. All of a sudden he pulled my headphones out. "Jackie, please talk to me." he said and looked me in the eyes. "I have nothing to say." I said looking back at my cereal. He sighed and typed away on his phone, I then shoved my headphones back in and kept staring at my cereal when I got a text from David.

D: Whats wrong?

Me: Nothing

D: Don't lie to me.

Me: Are you ready?

D: For?

Me: School.

D: yeah,

D: answer me :c

I just got up and grabbed my bags, he followed behind and locked the doors as we left. He pulled on my headphones again "What?" I said staring at him. "Jay.." he started before I cut him off "Don't. call. me. that." I said harshly, if he wants to play the hurt game then so will I. "W-why not?" He stuttered out. I chuckled and shrugged shoving my headphones in.
