CHAPTER 31

LEX'S POV

Today I bought a scented candle from a small shop to give to my mom, I just thought of her and later went on missing her.

If only could get closer to her again and hug her tight, I would. Pero lagi kasing nasa tabi ni mommy ang mga trabahador ni daddy.

Ayaw ko siyang makita, gusto ko lang si mommy. If ever she decided to separate ways with him imbis na malungkot ay magiging masaya pa ako.

Anong silbi ng relasyon na matagal ng nawala sa dapat patutunguhan?

I went to Sha's place but she wasn't there so I checked the school and I saw her at her own room checking bunch of papers from students.

Napagdesisyunan kong tulungan siya at hindi naman siya tumanggi, natatawa nalang ako sa mga sagot ng mga bata na nag-aaral dito.

Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. Ang tanong dito ay "anong gagawin mo sa taong nadapa, totoong sagot lamang" ang sagot niya ay "edi tatawanan"

Lol.

Inabot kaming pareho ng gabi sa pagc-check ng mga papel ng mga mag-aaral at nang matapos ay bigla siya humawak  sa ulo habang nakahawak ang isang kamay sa drawer.

She's having a headache.

Dali-dali akong tumayo at tumakbo hanggang makapunta sa harap niya. I used my body as barrier so that her head won't hit the drawer. Halatang nagda-dalawang isip pa siya kung hihiga ba sa braso ko o hindi.

I caressed her cheeks until she looked at me, her eyes were too tired. I carefully lay her head on my shoulders so that she can rest.

I don't mind staying like this for a while, as long as it's her.

Dahan-dahan akong umupo para hindi kami mangawit at inihiga siya sa tuhod ko. Ang ganda niya talaga.

My hand ran through her hair to relax her and also feel a bit of comfort. Its the person that gives you the comfort and never the air.

Throughout all the time she was asleep, I was silently checking on her though nothing would happen. Gusto ko lang.

"Bakit ayaw mong paniwalaan ako na gusto kita." Nagsalita ako at hindi bulong, hindi niya naman ako maririnig.

I won't stop pursuing her, not until she showed signs that she does not want me around.

Nakita kong binuksan niya ang mga mata at mabilis na umupo.

"I heard you earlier."  Saad niya habang inaayos ang sarili. "It's because your words are too good to be true."

"Ginagawa ko naman lahat." I said while holding myself back.

"You're doing everything when I'm doing nothing, that's the problem. Relationship works with two people, one isn't enough. Magsasawa ka lang." She's calm. "I'm dangerous."

But it didn't felt like it.

"You say you’re dangerous." I took a deep breath to avoid shouting. "That you destroy everything you touch...so destroy me. ruin me. tear me apart, and let me love you all the same."

"Why do you even love me in the first place? How come that the like turned into love?"

"I liked you because you're strong, confident and never let personal feelings get in to work which are the qualities I don't have before, kaya nahulog ang loob ko..iyan lang ang rason ko noon. Pero ngayon, hindi ko na mapaliwanag Sha. Araw-araw iniisip kita, sa pagtulog ko iniisip ko kung papayag ka ba kapag aayain kitang kumain. I don't want you seeing overworked." Please. "You deserve to be loved, so let me be that person."
