Adria's POV:

I stood there all stunned as the crowd cheered for the couple but the world has stopped for me. It took me a couple of seconds to comprehend everything and sink into the situation. When I gained back my senses he was still kissing her. His back was towards me as he kissed his bride and all I wanted to do was run from there before he could turn back and see me. But I couldn't.

And when he turned I was glad I didn't run away, cause now my stunned body relaxed. The guy on the stage was not Austin, instead, it was Augustus and the bride was Cara. WTF! How the fuck did this happen. I had a shit load of questions in my mind but now is not the time.

I was relieved that Austin was not the groom but then I panicked again, where is Austin? Is he getting married somewhere else? Am I at the wrong address?

I looked at Andrea standing beside me, with a smile that said 'I knew it' on her face.

"Andrea... Andrea, he is not here. Are you sure we are at the right address?", I asked her ignoring her smile. The smile from her face faded when she saw my panicked one but her calm demeanour didn't go. Instead of saying anything her eyes scanned the church and stopped at a particular stop.

"Of course, the devil is hiding at the corner", she said and smiled. My eyes followed hers and there he stood. There he stood in his mighty glory, wearing a black tux, far away from everyone, Austin Damon Hawk. He had a rare bright smile on his face as he looked proudly at his best friend who was getting married. The crowd of less than 50 something people cheered and roared for the married couple and no one was bothered by us, rather no one even noticed our presence.

"I guess he is not married...... yet", Andrea said from beside me. "Are you gonna talk to him now?", she asked and I shook my head as an answer.

"Let's hide here and make sure he is not getting married. Once it's confirmed, we can leave. I will talk to him later", I decided to chicken out again.

" I am not letting you run away now. It took you forever to grow some balls, now I am not letting you back out", she held my hand and tried to drag me towards Austin but I stopped her.

"O.. Ok, listen. Let's just wait for people to go, okay?", I asked and she gave me a weak nod.

We tiptoed to the corner behind some people I was seeing for the first time. There were some familiar faces too but everyone was busy adoring the couple to even spare a look at us.

" I can't believe Cara is getting married to Augustus", I said focusing on the scene in front of us. It gave me some time to get my mind off of Austin. "I mean he and Austin kidnapped her, how can she marry him?

And... and she looks happy too". I said looking at the big smile on Cara's face.

" Are you kidding me", Andrea whispered-yelled from beside me. "You are the one to talk? Girl, you seriously need to look yourself in the mirror. For someone who has fallen head over heels for her kidnaper slash abuser you have the audacity to judge someone else?", she said in a hushed tone.

Ouch! That's true but I have passed the point where my past doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is that because of some unknown reasons I happen to love Austin and I will try my best to be with him.

"All the young ladies gather for the bouquet toss. Come on let's see who is going to be the next lucky girl", a guy, probably the wedding planner announced on the microphone.

I immediately ducked behind the closest chair I found to conceal myself. Andrea stood there looking as the young girls started walking towards the stage where the bride would toss the bouquet. I yanked her hand and pulled her beside me. "Do you want to get caught?", I whispered at her to which she just rolled her eyes.

We kept hiding as around 6-7 girls were now on the stage a little away from Cara. She started turning and was about to throw the bouquet when the guy with the microphone interrupted her.

"I see not all the ladies want to get married, some like to hide behind chairs too", he said making me gulp. "Come one girl we can see you already. Come on here", as he said this the crowd cheered for us to get out of our hiding spot. "Guess we have twins, lets's see if any one of them catch the bouquet", he said as we peeked our heads out from behind the chair.

As we walked towards the stage I could see disapproving looks from the people as they took in our appearance. We both were wearing casual jeans and tops, which is not at all proper attire for a wedding. But we came here to stop Austin from getting married. Why would I dress up for it? I and Andrea were both in casual jeans and a top, paired with sneakers so we could run easily.

As we got near the stage my eyes met with Austin's, he was looking at me intently but held a poker face sipping on the champagne in his hand. God! I could give up all my property to read this guy's mind.

Gulping again I took my gaze away from Austin and looked at the couple who just got married. Augustus had a smirk plastered on his lips as he looked at me while Cara smiled brightly. I moved my head a little bit more and saw Damon and Charlie sitting amongst the audience. They had this huge smile plastered on their lips. Damon just shook his head and gave me thumbs up when I looked in his direction.

God! Can I get into a more embarrassing situation?

We stood among the crowd of girls who were eagerly waiting for us to settle so the bride would toss the bouquet and predict who was gonna marry first. Such a stupid custom. I mean if it is even possible?

We all lined up and took our positions. Cara looked at me again and then she looked at Andrea who was standing just beside me, suddenly her expression changed and she looked confused. I heard Andrea huff so I turned my head to her. She pointed in my direction with her thumbs and Cara gave her a knowing smile and finally turned to do the stupid custom.

Moving her hands up she threw the bouquet up in the air and I saw it flying right in my direction.

No! Don't come to me. Don't come to me. Please no. Please no. I chanted in my head.

A girl tried to catch it but was pushed by Andrea. The next thing I know was the bouquet right in front of my face and I did the last thing I wanted to do, I caught it.
