- Time Skip, One Month Later -

A few weeks ago, all of my furniture came in. I decorated the whole house, and Shanna helped me do it. It's amazing here in Boston, I absolutely love the house. What I don't love, is the situation I created with Chris. He's been in New York for a month now, and we haven't really talked to each other.

He calls me sometimes, but I actually just don't answer. Whenever he texts me, I don't answer for like a few days or so. I feel bad for doing that to him, I'm basically ghosting him but I'm scared for the feeling I get when I do talk to him.

I just can't do it, I can't talk to him without letting my heart skip a few beats. I don't want Shanna to get hurt, so I decided to make out friendship my priority. Yes, Chris makes me happy but my friends do too. In the past few days, Chris messaged me a few times. It's been about 7 days since I last replies, so I'll do it again now.

I wipe away the few tears that left my eyes while I typed those words, and put down my phone again. This hurts like hell, especially the fact that I know that it's hurting him too. He asks me to call him a lot, but I never do. I just don't want to hear his voice because if I do, I'll cry my eyes out.
