Chapter 46 - The Toddler

A/N: My dears, please don't be angry with me if I pass over the wedding and mention it only briefly. I have now often sat in front of this book and thought about how I should write and design the wedding, but did not really come forward with my ideas and I do not think that will change. But in order not to keep you waiting for a new chapter, I thought I'd just keep writing and mention the wedding only briefly.

After they said yes to each other six months ago, romantically and very emotionally, in a private club in Taiwan in the closest circle of family and friends, a lot had happened once again in the lives of the newly married couple. But before we get to that, let's take a quick look back at the day since the two can officially and legally call themselves a same-sex married couple. Their marriage!

Because their parents insisted on this tradition, after their arrival in Taiwan, the two were separated from their families two days before the wedding and spent this time with their families and in different hotels. They did not see each other again until Yibo was led by his father, escorted down the red carpet to the altar, and where his father Yibo faithfully and officially handed over his son to Zhan.

Even as the doors of the old but still beautiful club, decorated for the occasion, were opened and Yibo, wearing his custom-made black suit, stepped through those doors and immediately looked to Zhan, his eyes began to tear up with joy. A wave of emotion flowed through Yibo's body and he did not stop crying again until he was with Zhan, who embraced him.

The wedding speaker, an already older man whose hair was already more gray than black and who had many small laugh lines around his mouth and eyes, immediately began his work and smilingly started to tell the love story of the two. He especially emphasized how surprising it was, especially for Yibo, to have found his great love happiness in Zhan and thus in a man, and how special this love and happiness are especially for Yibo.

But he also didn't leave out how lucky Zhan is to have found someone like Yibo, who seems to be Zhan's perfect match. Like Yibo was made just for Zhan. And he also mentioned that Zhan had no intention of ever getting emotionally involved with anyone again, and now that Yibo has come into his life, he is showering him with love. Yibo nodded affirmatively at these words.

When the wedding speaker finally came to the really important question after more than half an hour, both of them had answered immediately with Yes, I do, without hesitation and with a broad smile. And when the wedding speaker then announced that the two were now husband and husband and could kiss each other, Yibo had thrown the wedding bouquet to his brother, wrapped his arms around Zhan and the two then kissed for almost a full minute.

The wedding party that followed was then held at the club as well. Only the theme had been missed. Because instead of "Playboy" it became then rather and completely unsuitable topic "Dirty Dancing" which the wedding planner could not explain himself allegedly. Yibo, however, was convinced that it was the wedding planner's revenge for the fact that they had not liked any of his suggestions and the two had not given him as much free rein as he wanted.

During the wedding party, each of those present, there were not many, had then given a little speech, mostly about where they knew the husbands from and how happy they were for them. Only Youn had put a few more thoughts into his speech. "I have known Yibo for a very long time now. He is my best friend, companion and close confidant. He knows me like no one else and I feel the same way about him. We know everything about each other, have never kept secrets from each other and have always, no matter what, supported each other. Therefore, I know not only how hard Yibo worked every day to achieve his goals, but also how long and difficult his search for real and true love was. He longed very much for someone in his life who would love him for who he is. Years ago and in a joking manner, I once said to him that true love only exists among men. It is a saying that probably everyone knows and that was not meant seriously by me. And yet, it is a man in whom Yibo found everything he was longing for. You could say that from the moment Zhan entered his life, Yibo was already hopelessly addicted to him. Suddenly there was almost only one topic for Yibo and that was the handsome businessman Xiao Zhan. At first, however, I thought nothing of it, Yibo seemed to admire the successful businessman only. But after a few months, I realized that there was more to it. Because when Zhan ended the business relationship with Yibo, Yibo behaved more like someone who was rejected by his crush. But there it was just a hunch that was confirmed soon after Yibo told me about his "reunion" with Zhan. Neither of them wanted to admit or acknowledge it, but it was clear to me, the two of them are in love with each other. I even saw them kissing secretly, and this despite Yibo's rock-solid claim that he was not in love with Zhan. And now see, two years later, here we all are, witnessing my best friend marrying the man of his dreams, his great, true and genuine love. And I can't emphasize enough how happy it makes me that Yibo just smiles and shows his happiness to everyone since Zhan came into his life and literally carries him on his hands. I am happy that my best friend has found a man who not only supports him in everything, but above all showers him with love. I wish you that your love will never end."
