Chapter 35 - Zhan's parents

A/N: There will be smut again, but not yet in this chapter and probably not yet in the next chapter. On the one hand, this is not supposed to be an erotic or porn book. And on the other hand I would like to move the story forward. Furthermore, it is not easy for me to come up with smut these days. But we will have smut again, that's for sure. 

That morning, after a long hot night, Yibo woke up with an unknown hunger. His stomach growled so loudly and cramped so much, as if he had not eaten for days. So he hurried to the bathroom for a quick shower, leaving his sleeping Zhan behind, and then hurried downstairs to the kitchen to Lana, who had already prepared a hearty breakfast.

As soon as Yibo sat at the large breakfast table, he stuffed several large juicy and sweet grapes into his mouth while Lana prepared a cup of coffee for him. She sat down next to Yibo, stroked his still wet hair tenderly and smiled. Yibo has become very dear to her and she is happy every time she sees him. Sometimes he reminds her of Zhan when he was younger and just as bright as Yibo.

Ten minutes later, Zhan also came downstairs to the kitchen, kissed Yibo on the forehead, hugged Lana, and smirked when he saw Yibo randomly stuffing everything in his mouth. "You seem to be very hungry this morning." He said with a grin.

"Mn. Pretty hungry." Replied Yibo, immediately stuffing himself with another slice of kiwi.

Cheng also came into the kitchen now and greeted the three. Lana poured him a cup of tea and asked him how he slept. Cheng thought for a moment and said, "Quite well. I feel refreshed. And I made a decision last night. Maybe that's why I feel so good."

Zhan and even Yibo looked at him and Lana asked, "What decision did you make?"

"I decided to separate from Hai Kuan." He explained in a few words.

Yibo swallowed hard. It wasn't that he couldn't understand him. It was just that he still didn't believe that his big brother really cheated on Cheng with that Meng Yao. He knows how much his brother loves Cheng and what kind of person his brother is. Therefore, it is hard for him to see his brother as someone who cheats on his partner. However, he said nothing and just kept eating. Much slower now.

Zhan nodded and replied, "Well, I'm sure it will be the right decision for you."

"Yes. I just know that I can't forgive him this. Even if I gave him one more chance, I would always have to remember that he cheated on me with Meng Yao." Explained Cheng.

"Sure, I guess we would all feel that way." Said Zhan. By now, even Zhan doesn't believe that Hai Kuan really cheated on Cheng. Because he remembered what his source told him about Meng Yao, that he has a plan to win Hai Kuan back. And Zhan believes that Meng Yao will use any means to do so. But he didn't say anything either, because after all, he can't prove anything else. Not yet!

"I also decided to fly back home today. I have to go back to work on Monday anyway, and I'll just meet with Hai Kuan later to tell him my decision. After that, I have nothing more to do with him." Said Cheng, took a sip of tea and then helped himself to a yogurt with fresh strawberries.

Neither Zhan nor Yibo said anything in response. They had both briefly talked about what they thought of the whole thing last night when they had taken a break between their lovemaking. And they had both decided to look into the matter. Quite discreetly and without Cheng's knowledge. Just in case they were wrong and Hai Kuan really had slept with Meng Yao.

Curious as the two are, they would have liked to follow Cheng to his meeting with Hai Kuan. But they have other plans for this day. Because today Zhan wants to go to his parents together with Yibo and introduce Yibo to them. You couldn't tell by looking at him, but Zhan was really excited already.
