Bright glances outside the window. He has been spacing out or probably thinking too much. Something weird is flapping inside his stomach and heart feels like it would leap out any moment.

"Bright?"

"Huh?" startled, Bright turns back.

Win's dad is standing at the door, his frown softening as he walks upto Bright.

"Are you okay son?"

"Yes. Just.. a little nervous. How is Win?"

"Impatient.." Win's dad chuckles, "he was so excited he spilled wine on his suit. Your mom is helping him to fix it now."

Bright laughs fondly.

"Thank you Bright" Mr. Wan begins, albeit hesitantly, "uh.. I know we are not as close as you were with Irin but I hope you can rely on me too son. I'm just like your father."

"No..." Bright interposes, hugging Win's dad, "you are nothing like my dad, uncle."

Mr. Wan frowns and then understanding what Bright means, he tightens his grasp on Bright.

"Well, you have a father now who loves you alright? We are all family."

"Yeah" Bright laughs lightly, pulling back, "I thought you've come to intimidate me now that I'm marrying your son."

"Well you are marrying my son who you've loved for twenty nine years now. Thanking you can't be enough too. I know nobody else can make him as happy as you do."

Bright's eyes soften and he wipes Mr. Wan's tearful eyes.

A faint knock on the door interrupts them. Win's dad pats Bright's back before leaving.

"Hi dear ex" a sweet voice hits Bright's ears.

Bright smiles, opening his arms, earning a giggle from Gorya as she hugs him tightly.

"Hey...thank you so much for coming."

"Thank you so much for remembering me. Of course I'd come. And seems like I did the right thing."

"What do you mean?"

Gorya bites her lips before asking Bright the name of his tall friend who is clad in a sea blue suit.

"Dew?" Bright asks, frowning.

"I guess.." Gorya says, "is he single?"

"I see how it is.." Bright smirks. Gorya rolls her eyes. Nani interrupts.

"Let's go. You have to meet guests."

When Bright walks out in the backyard, his eyes by habit end up at Win. And by habit, Win feels Bright's eyes on him too. He grins widely and strides towards Bright.

"Hello handsome" Bright laughs, caressing Win's hair, "were you missing me?"

"Nah. Kavin was keeping me entertained. What?" Win laughs, "oh my god are you seriously pouting right now?"

"I'm not. And why are you looking at my lips?"

Win giggles, stealing a soft smooch on his soon to be husband's lips. Bright immediately melts in that kiss.

"I was only kidding."

"Me too" Bright says, "where is he?"

"Just went for a drink I suppose" Win supplies, "god he kept flexing about his husband Mr. Akira. It was annoying."

"You brag about me literally everywhere. Serves you right."

"So you're in his team now?"

"I'm in my babe's team."
