"What's going on there?" Takang tanong ng ama niya sa interaksyon niya sa dalawang magkapatid kanina.

Pasimple siyang yumuko at pinalis ang isang butil ng luha saka ngumiti sa ama.

"Oh, nothing. Hinx Benjamin introduced himself to me...as well as his brother." Sabi niya rito.

"Right. That bodyguard of yours is a Benjamin, right? Hmm. That's the Benjamins should do, serving us." Her father smirked and laugh.

Nakatitig ito kay Kuya Hendrix na abalang nakikipag-usap sa mga pinsan nito. He's working under Cali Inc. because he wanted to train in the biggest company, but he hates how her father treat Kuya Hendrix, parang tauhan talaga.

"I wonder when is my engagement party with Hendrix?" Her sister asked who jist approached them.

"After your Cyra, you can marry Hemdrix anytime you want." Her father responded.

Ngumisi ang ate niya. She grimaced on that. Kuya Hendrix doesn't spemd a single second staring at Xyril. Why is her sister so delusional?

The party started. Nakaupo na sila sa unahan, napapagitnaan niya ng ate niya ang kanilang ama habang katabi naman niya si Kuya Hendrix.

She can't help to look him. May pagkahawig ito kay Hakob but he's more masculine like Kuya Hinx.

Napatingin siya sa ginagawa nito. He's busy on his phone, not paying attention to the party and reading some...old conversation.

Hindi naman niya sinasadya pero nabasa niya ang pangalan ni Chloe tsaka may I love you na rin. Agad siyang napaiwas ng tingin ng bumaling ito sa kanya.

"Hakob's girlfriend?" Mahinang tanong nito sa kanya.

She shook her head.

"He's serving me, he's my bodyguard." Mataray na sagot niya.

Napangisi ito.

"Hmm. As he should."

Right. As he should pero bakit may iba atang rason sa sinabi ni Kuya Hendrix? Hakob should serve her because it's his job, what else would it be?

She boredly pay her attention to the one presenting. Malapit ng ipakilala ang lalaking papakasalan niya and she's nervous. Who it might be? Kilala ba niya? Will she be comfortable?

Muli siyang napatingin kay Kuya Hendrix. Nakita niya itong may ka-chat but mainly he's the only one chatting.

She's not chismosa, ha! Pero nabasa lang talaga niya.

Hendrix:

I'm going home soon.

I hope I can still be able to hold you.

I'm such a thick face asking this but I hope you haven't love anyone else.

I'm at the party right now.

I'll just let Cali to enjoy before ruining them.

Her eyes widen on what he just last chatted. That's why hes fishy! Because he's doing an inside job!

Napalingon sa kanya si Hendrix saka ngumiti. Tinago nito ang phone sa bulsa ng slacks nito. Nanatili pa rin siyang hindi nakaimik sa gulat.
