i let out a laugh and tried to push shark away as he tried to lick me in the face. he persisted, though he stopped as he heard someone knock on the door. he jumped off the couch, and he ran over to the door.
i shook my head with another, small laugh as i got up and followed him. i gently pushed him back as i reached the door. i opened it, and i smiled as i saw jessie.
they were wearing a black, silk, short-sleeved button up shirt. she had on white dress pants, and the pair of air forces i had customized for her. they had on a diamond cuban link chain, that fit tightly on their neck. they flashed a smile as their eyes met mine, and i noticed that they were wearing their grillz.
her eyes trailed down to look at my outfit. "hi, princess," they murmured. "te ves preciosa."
translation: you look gorgeous.
"hi, baby," i bit back a smile. my brows furrowed as i tried to translate what she said. "is preciosa... precious?" i made a face.
"no," she laughed. "it's not a cognate. preciosa is gorgeous."
"i look gorgeous?" i raised a brow. she nodded, and i smiled. "thank you, mama. you look handsome."
they bit their lip. "thank you."
she placed her hands on my hips, and she brought me closer. they glanced down at the boots i was wearing, and their brows furrowed at the slight height advantage they gave me.
"what, you don't like that i'm taller than you?" i teased.
"no, it's fine; i'm just used to being the same height as you," she laughed.
they pulled me closer, and they pressed their lips to mine after they glanced at my outfit again. i smiled against her lips.
"you ready, shorty?" she raised a brow.
i nodded, and they held their hand out for mine. i placed my hand in her's, and she started to lead me out of my apartment. i leaned my head on her shoulder as we walked.
"you smell different," i commented. "like... i dunno."
"i bought some cologne earlier this week," they smirked.
"i like it," i murmured. "it's sexy," i told them, which made them let out a small laugh.
we walked out to her car. she opened the passenger door for me, and i got into the seat. once i was situated properly, they shut the door, and they walked around the front of their car to get into the driver's seat. once she sat down, she stole a quick kiss, then started up the car and backed out of the parking spot.
