i let out a laugh as i watched shark and shiloh. sharky was trying to sleep as he laid cuddled up with me on the couch, though shiloh kept licking him.
"what is she doing?" jessie snickered as she walked over to us. they were combing their hand through their hair as they added product to it. "is she just— why?" they chuckled.
"she's been doing this for, like, five minutes," i laughed.
shark slowly woke up. he tried to move his head to bury it into my stomach, though shiloh persisted. i cooed through another laugh.
"leave him alone," jess giggled as she gently pulled shiloh away. "let sharky boy sleep!"
shiloh whined lowly as she started to walk away. jj pouted, and they quickly followed behind her. i shook my head, and i turned my attention back to shark, who had fallen back asleep.
jessie walked back into the living room roughly ten minutes later. i saw that she was wearing some of my clothes. they had given up trying to style their hair; it was a bit messy, like it usually is.
"i need some more of my clothes here," she told me.
should i tell her about her clothes that are here that i totally didn't steal?
nah...
"i don't have any where to put them though," i pointed out.
"true; you have hella clothes," they let out a small puff of air. "i could build a lil' dresser or something," she suggested as she flexed her arm with a smirk.
"you're so idiot," i giggled.
"huh?" their brows furrowed as they let out a small laugh.
"you're so idiot," i repeated.
"i think you're so idiot," she shook her head as she walked over to the couch. she bent down beside it, and she stole a quick kiss from me. "can i build a dresser or something though?"
"if you think you can, then go ahead, baby," i nodded.
they grinned. they kissed me a few times. "okay, i gotta get to work. i don't know if i'll be able to come to the bar tonight; i'm pretty sure i have to work overtime."
i pouted. "okay. i can bring you lunch later, if you want me to?" i suggested.
"yes, please," she murmured with a smile. "i'll text you, yeah?"
i nodded. i lifted my hands, and i cupped her cheeks to give her a kiss. i admittedly started to get carried away, until they gently pushed me back with a laugh.
"i'll see you in a bit, princess," she kissed my forehead.
"okay," i pouted again.
they pet shark, then shiloh before they started to leave. i glanced over at them as they grabbed their skateboard. "be careful!"
