i watched as billie and finneas argued over what lyrics sounded better for a song they were writing. the argument was getting pretty heated, maybe even overheated.
they're currently writing a few songs for a disney movie.
that's crazy as hell. i'm proud as fuck though.
the songs they're writing are for a boy band in the movie called 4*town. the movie is set in the early 2000's.
"aren't they so cute?" i asked claudia, who was laying comfortably in my arms on the couch that finneas had in his studio.
"the cutest," she agreed in a giggle.
"no, finneas, that sounds fucking stupid," billie claimed as she leaned back in her seat, then placed her sucker back in her mouth.
"it sounds better than what you said," finny huffed.
"no, it doesn't," her eyes widened. "you cannot seriously think that."
"let's see then; jessie, claudia, which lyrics sound better?" finneas turned to us as he raised a brow.
me and claudia both froze up. "nah, i'm not getting involved in that shit," i shook my head.
"me neither," claudia agreed. "that's between you and bil."
he narrowed his eyes at us. "well, you two are no help."
we both flipped him off. i rested my head on claudia's as bil and finny resumed their argument. they eventually decided on which lyrics sounded better.
"okay, so..." billie trailed off. "'cause you have opened my eyes and stolen my heart. you make me believe that love can be art, and i could never survive a minute apart. you are my one true love. my one true love. my heaven above," she sang.
she's not even trying to sound good, yet she still does. she's incredible.
they continued to mess around with the lyrics and even started to make a demo of part of the song. they took a break though, and billie walked over to the couch that me and claudia were still cuddling on.
she looked down at us, and she narrowed her eyes at claudia. "move."
"yo, calm down," i said. "i can cuddle my fiancée and my girlfriend at the same time; don't worry."
"she's not your fiancée!" she groaned.
"yes, i am," claudia said at the same time i said "yes, she is."
"you two are annoying as hell," she narrowed her eyes again.
we both laughed loudly. i pouted though as claudia actually got up from my embrace.
billie smiled though, and she took claudia's place. "brat," i mumbled, but still pressed a kiss to her forehead.
