"happy birthday, princess," i murmured to billie as i woke her up by pressing soft, slow kisses across her face.
"thank you, baby," she gave a sleepy smile. she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me to lay down with her. "i love you."
"i love you," i kissed her head. "did you sleep good?"
"mhm," she hummed as she buried her face into my chest. "so good."
"i'm glad. are you hungry, lovey? i cooked you some breakfast."
"really?" she pulled back so that she could pout at me. i nodded. "yeah, i'm hungry."
"okay. you stay right here then; i'll bring it to you," i told her.
"you're so perfect," she jutted her bottom lip out more before she cupped my face to bring me in for a kiss.
"i'm just taking care of you, bebé; you deserve it," i scrunched my nose up at her.
i kissed her forehead before i stood up again. i started to walk out of room to go get her a plate of the food i cooked.
"i love you!" she called out.
"i love you more!" i grinned as i stepped out of the room.
"that's false!"
"mm... no, it's not," i kissed my teeth.
"yes, it is!" i heard her huff.
i shook my head with a small laugh as i walked into the kitchen. sol was walking right behind me as i did. once i started walking, she tried to jump up onto my legs.
she's getting so big.
i got some of the food i made onto a plate for billie. i also got her something to drink. i grabbed a fork before i made my way back to our room.
"here you go, mi amor," i handed the plate to her, and i set her cup on the nightstand. "your favorite."
"so perfect," she mumbled with another pout as she kissed my cheek. i grinned in response, and i kissed her forehead as i settled beside her on the bed.
when she finished eating, i took her cup and plate to the kitchen, where i set them in the sink and rinsed them off. i started to put the food away, while she did her morning routine.
once i finished straightening up the kitchen, i headed back to our room. she had just walked out of the bathroom.
she walked back over to our bed. i did too, and i hovered over her, with my legs on either side of her. i cupped her face as i stared down at her with a smile.
"you're so pretty. sweet baby," i murmured as i kissed her forehead, which was clearly visible due to the fact that she hasn't cut her bangs.
i love getting to see her forehead, i don't know. i just wanna kiss it all the time though.
