the next morning, i woke up to billie placing soft, innocent kisses on my bare back. i smiled, and i buried my face into the pillow.

"good morning, princess," i murmured.

"good morning, baby," she planted a final kiss before i turned on my side. i pulled her to lay beside me, and i buried my face into her chest. she giggled, and she kissed the top of my head. "you good, lovebug?"

"mm," i hummed as my arms snaked around her waist. "i'm tired."

"i really did a number on you last night, huh?" she teased.

my face flushed, and i tried to bury my head further into her chest. "i wasn't expecting you to bring out the strap," i muttered. "i didn't even know you packed it!"

she giggled. "of course i did. i'm surprised you didn't pack it."

"shush," i huffed.

she kissed the top of my head before she started to run her hand through my hair. "we made love last night," she said in one of the funny voices that she does.

"shut up! you're so idiot," i laughed. i pursed my lips. "i think that's obvious though from the way i started fucking crying."

"it was cute; nothing to be ashamed of, angel," she assured as she pressed several kisses to my head.

i let out a small puff of air. "i love you," i mumbled.

"i love you too," she smiled against my temple.

"let's stay in bed for a couple of hours," i yawned. "please? i'm still sleepy, and i just wanna cuddle."

"i'm completely down for that," she agreed.

"billie, stay back!" i looked at her with narrowed eyes.

bil giggled as she still walked towards me.

"i swear, if you push me into this damn pool, i'm not swimming back up," i shook my head. "you can enjoy your murder charge!"

she still stepped forward, and she placed her hands on me to push me into the pool. "you psychotic bitch!" i laughed as i pulled her in with me.

we both resurfaced a few seconds later. i shook my wet hair out of my face, while she lifted her hand to move her hair away from her face.

"you're a bitch," i chuckled as i pulled her towards me.

she hooked her arms around my neck, and she wrapped her legs around my waist. "i'm your bitch though," she bit her lip.

"you're my horny bitch," i chuckled before pulling her into a kiss.

just as we were getting into it, i pulled us under water. she pushed me away, and i laughed as we resurfaced again.

"i hate you," she flipped me off, though she had a smile on her face.

"you love me," i corrected with a smirk.

she splashed water at me. "somehow," she said teasingly.

it's a few hours later. i moved to swimming in the lake, though billie had opted to stay out of it. she's laying on a towel trying to tan. she's playing one of justin bieber's albums through a speaker she brought here.

i made my way out of the lake, and i walked over to billie. when i stood in front of her, she pulled her sunshades off of her eyes to look at me.

"i hate to say it, but... you're just getting red, bil. my lil' tomato," i cooed.

"i'm gonna beat your ass," she threatened as she narrowed her eyes at me.

"you're gonna eat my ass?!" my eyes widened. "i mean, i—"

i cut myself off as she started to get up. my eyes widened even more, and i started to run away. she was quick to follow me.

we both laughed as she jumped onto my back. she clung onto me tightly.

"you're. so. idiot," she emphasized each word. she pressed aggressive kisses to my head between each word.

"you're more idiot!" i argued as i tried to pull her off my back. when i succeeded, i picked her up so that facing towards me as she clung onto me. "the most idiot!"

"no, you!" she huffed before she pressed her lips to mine as she held my face in her hands.

when she pulled back, i sent a smile. "i love you," i murmured.

"i love you," she kissed my forehead.

i started walking back towards the lake, with billie still clinging onto me. when she noticed that's where i was going, she tried to get out of my hold.

"wait, no! stop it," she laughed. "i'm not getting in that, no way!"

"what's wrong with it? it's the same as the pool," i chuckled.

"no, it's completely different! i can see the bottom of the pool! i can't see the bottom of the lake!" she huffed.

she still tried to squirm out of my grip, but it was no use.

"there's nothing to be scared of, princess," i assured softly. "i gotchu, alright?"

even so, she clung onto me tighter as i made my way into the lake. she buried her face into the crook of my neck.

"see? it's not that bad," i laughed a bit.

she let out a small "hmph," and she made no move to let go of me.

i tried to pry her off of me. "c'mon, angel; let go," i murmured.

"nuh-uh!" she huffed as she somehow clung onto me even tighter. "i don't wanna."

"there's nothing to be scared of," i reassured.

"i'm not scared," she mumbled. "i just don't wanna let go. you can swim for the both of us."

i shook my head, and i playfully rolled my eyes. "okay, okay," i chuckled. i kissed her shoulder. "i love you. so, so, so much."

"i love you so, so, so much," she smiled.

life is so good right now.
