Esme stood in the ER with Jackson and smiled as he stood on the phone. She walked over to him and handed him a coffee and smiled as he hung up and smiled. He took the coffee from her and smiled as he looked to her
"So Chloe went to L.A how are you without your partner in crime?" He asked as she looked to him and smirked
"I have you still and this way I get to send more time with you" Esme said as Jackson looked to her and smirked
"You see that's not a bad idea" Jackson said as he pulled her Close and kissed her
"I have to go I'll see you later" Esme said as Jackson nodded
"Well maybe you will let me take my girlfriend for dinner tonight since Chloe isn't here to third wheel us" he said as Esme smiled
"Sure" Esme said as she leant in and kissed him

Esme walked into the basement as she saw Meredith and Cristina and frowned
"You look weird" Cristina said
"Says you. Have you seen your face" Esme said as Cristina rolled her eyes
"I meant without Chloe. Meredith has mess" Cristina said as Meredith glared
"You can tell her she's one of us" Cristina said as Meredith showed her a pregnancy test as Esme frowned
"No way. Your...oh my god" Esme said
"I know" Meredith said
"Are you happy? I mean you aren't going to go all dark and twisty Meredith?" Esme asked as Cristina smiled
"She's got a point" Cristina said as Meredith smiled
"Okay. Well congratulations" Esme said as she hugged her and smiled
"Have you told him?" Cristina asked
"No I just found out"
"You have to tell him and not just that he's a stepdad to Chloe well ex but still. Derek will be a great father" Esme said as Cristina nodded
"What she said" Cristina said as the pagers started to beep
"Arizona I have to go" Esme said as she walked off to the ER

Esme walked onto peds and smiled as she saw Arizona. Arizona looked to her and smiled "finally someone I knows who knows what she is doing" Arizona said as Esme looked to her and rolled her eyes
"Your only saying that Cause you trained me. What have we got" Esme asked as she grabbed the file off of the side
"We have an appy. Are you on?" Arizona asked as she handed the file to Esme
"Sure" Esme said as Callie walked into the ward as Arizona and Callie held a look
"Why don't you just talk to her"
"It's not that easy essy" Arizona said as a nurse answered the floor and looked pale
"What is it?" Arizona asked
