𝟯𝟱. 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 {𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵}

Esme stood outside as she looked to the bus. They were heading to take the boards. She had just got off of the phone with addison who had wished her good luck. She looked to Chloe and mark. They were coddling over their daughter grace. Esme knew that's Chloe didn't want to leave her daughter

"She'll be fine she's with her father. Chloe" Esme said

"Listen to her. She's right. Go and past your boards and be great and me and grace will be here and you'll upset her" mark said

"Mommy loves you. Come on let's go before my ovaries ache" Chloe said as she kissed grace. She got on the bus as Esme looked to Jackson and smiled. She knew how they were soon to be eloping. She knew that no one but Arizona who she had sworn to secrecy knew over their engagement. She hadn't even told her best friend but Esme knew that she loved that this was a secret between them

"you okay? You look tired" Esme asked as they sat on the bus. Chloe sat in front of them as she starting texting mark straight away as jackson sat next to Esme and smiled

"I'm fine it's these boards I just want it over with. That and the fact my fiancé can't keep her hands off of me" he said in a whispered as she smiled as he rested a hand on her thigh. Esme turned to face him and smirked at he leant in and kissed him

"I get you there" she said as she placed a hand on his thigh and smiled

Esme walked through the lobby of the hotel "are you really sure that you want to go to New York. I'll go anywhere with you. You know that ?" Jackson asked as Esme smiled. Esme had been offered a job at the hospital in New York in peds. She hated told anyone only Jackson. She knew it was important to their relationship to talk over possibly moving away from Seattle.

Esme knew that she was scared to tell Arizona and Chloe. She knew they she hated made her mind up over it all

Esme knew it was a once in a life time opportunity. "You don't have to go with me you know" Esme said as Jackson smiled

"Are you kidding I'd go to the end of the earth to be with you" Jackson said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled  as he leant in and kissed her

"Really" she asked as he placed a hand on her cheek

"Like you wouldn't understand" Jackson said. He watched as she went to check in and sighed

"How the hell have you not got her pregnant yet. The chemistry I mean you've been together what three years now" Chloe asked jackson

"We aren't you and mark. Besides Esme is my forever. We have time to have kids" Jackson said as Chloe looked to him and smiled

"Hurt her I'll kick you" Chloe said as they held a look as he nodded before they sat down with the other residents

"My examiner is gonna hate me, too, instantly." April said as she sat down

"Don't psych yourself out." Cristina said

"One in five people fail the boards." April said

"Fine. Psych yourself out." Cristina said

"It's just a test. We've all dealt with worse.No one's bleeding out on your table. We will be fine." Jackson said
