Esme stood in Meredith's hospital room as they all gushed around baby Bailey. Esme was still in shock. She was pregnant and it was a lot to get her head around.
She knew Jackson almost died out in the storm and since she had found out all that she could think over was Taylor the bent that she had lost and she knew that she couldn't go through that again. She knew it was too much and it killed her
"Hey are you okay?" Chloe asked as she stood next of Esme who smiled
"I'm okay" Esme said. Chloe wasn't convinced
"Is it Jackson you know he will be okay" Chloe said
"Yeah. When I finish killing him for scaring me to crap" Esme said
" Okay, we should get started. Um, Bailey, we have some board business that we need to disc... " Owen said
"I'm not going anywhere. Me and this baby got Bailey business to discuss. Don't we? Yes, Mr. Derek Bailey Shepherd. Yes, we do. " Bailey said as they sits down on a chair.
" What does Zola think of him? " Arizona asked
" Oh, she wants to take him to day care for show and tell." Meredith said
" Where's Richard? " derek asked
" I paged all the board members. " Owen said
" Well, Avery should be here, too. " derek said
" Yeah, well, he was being a hero last night. He dislocated his shoulder saving a kid from the bus crash. " owen said
" What bus crash? " Meredith said
" She had a baby. She doesn't know things. " Cristina said
" So tell me. "
" A church was evacuating some people, and their bus overturned. " owen said
" Good news is, everyone survived, and there are no major injuries. " derek said
"And my husband is a idiot" Esme siad
" And the bad news? " arizona asked
"Everything else. The blood bank is flooded, and the E.R. looks like it was ransacked. " owen said
" So we need to close the E.R.? " derek asked
" We're dangerously low on meds. Personnel can't make it in due to the flooding. " Owen said
" So we need to close the E.R. "
" Can we do that? " arizona asked
" You are the board. I am telling you that E.R. cannot open today. " Owen said
" What do we need? I mean, I can try to coordinate with our suppliers. I had a baby. I'm not dead. If they have it, then we want it." Meredith said
"In the meantime, let's make sure that our inpatients are taken care of and discharge who we can. " Owen said
" Like me. " meredith said
