Esme sat in the locker room as Webber handed them navy blue scrubs. Esme looked together and frowned as she sat next to Jackson

"Navy scrubs? Attending scrubs" Meredith said

"You are attendings today" Webber said

"Run the cases, take point, but don't be a fool. If you get in over your head, cry uncle" Webber said

"This could be interesting" Chloe said

"Until then ... Congratulations. You've just been promoted" Webber said

"I think I could look hot in these" Esme said

"You look hot in anything" Jackson whispered into her ear. She looked to him and smirked. Esme knew how she and Jackson were still trying hard to make their relationship work and that meant keeping it secret

"Do you think yang is okay" April asked as they looked to them and smiled

"She's messed up from the shooting isn't she" Jackson said as Esme smiled

"She's not the only one" Esme said as Chloe looked to her and smiled

"Well to be fair you found out your sister is your mommy so that doesn't help as well as being shot by a nut job" Chloe said as Esme looked to her and rolled her eyes

"You really know how to make a girl feel better. With your way with words" Esme said as Chloe chuckled

Esme walked through the hallway with Jackson as she went through the patient chart "how Lucy are you to get to play attending with me" Jackson said as Esme smirked

"Oh I know" she said as he grabbed her lab coat and pulled her to him and smirked as he leant in and kissed her

"I have no idea how much longer I can do this. Keep this to myself. Keep my hands off of you" he said as she smirked

"I'm just irresistible" Esme said

"You have no idea. I know how hard things have been I do want to make it work with us" he said as she looked to him and smiled

Esme and Jackson walked into the patients room as derek joined them "Ms. Radigan, you're still having these headaches and ringing in the ears?" Jackson asked

"All day long. It's driving me crazy" she said

"It's caused by a buildup of fluid in your skull So what we will do is insert a shunt, And that will relieve the pressure on your brain" Esme said

"What do you mean,"we"?" You're doing the actual tube part in the brain, right, Not them"

"Excuse her. She's a schoolteacher.

"that's all right. She can ask questions. Robbins and Dr. Avery are residents. They're very talented. One of them will be Performing the procedure, and I will be observing" derek said
