Esme sighed to herself as she got to work. She stood in front of the OR board and sighed. She was expecting more bad news "what's going on now?" Esme as Cristina who looked to her and sighed

"some computer service for scheduling surgeries from now on" she said as esme looked to her and sighed.

Esme didn't know what she was expecting but she knew that there had been a lot of change in a short number of time

"they're trying to get rid of us, I am telling you" esme said as she walked off out of and into the locker room. She rolled her eyes as she saw Reed Adam and Alex

"don't worry being ditched by cancer wife doesn't change anything you'd still a douche" Reed said as Alex as esme shot a glare

"and your a bitch who got her only friend fired. How is April?" Esme asked as Reed said nothing as she walked out of the room

"you didn't need to do that" Alex said as esme nodded

"I do she's a cow and she's been here two minutes. No word from izzie?" Esme asked as Alex sighed

"nothing" Alex said as esme looked to him and smiled

"I'm sorry" esme said as he looked to her and smiled

Esmè stood by the vending machine and smiled as she saw Jackson. She looked to him and smiled

"I hear congratulations is in order, your on on shepherds tumour" Esmè said as he looked to her and smiled

"I thought you hated me unless your trying to trick me, I thought you would of been in on the surgery"

"I would but I'm on trauma today, and I don't hate you. Reed I do hate" Esmè said as she grabbed a chocolate bar from the vending machine

"so what are we friends" he asked as she looked to him and smirked

"yeah but you may flirt with me but your not that lucky to sleep with me Jackson Avery" Esmè said as she walked off.

She knew Jackson, she knew he was a pretty boy and a flirt but she knew that she wasn't going to end up that girl who was hooked on him like everyone else seemed to be.

Esmè sat in the conference room and looked as she saw Jackson. She looked to him and smirked

"are you stalking me?" She asked as he looked to her and smirked

"no, I thought that we were friends. I wanted to see if you were okay" he asked as she looked to him and smiled

"I know I'm not a Neurosurgeon but I just thought I'd look at this with fresh eyes, you know see if I could help. I mean I know derek is more experienced but I don't know" Esmè said as Jackson looked to her and smiled

"it's a good idea, why don't I see if I can help. Two pairs of eyes are better than one" Jackson said as Esmè looked to him and smiled as she handed him the scans.

Esmè smiled as she saw arizona as she walked into the locker room "come on I'll drive you home and we can have a pizza" Arizona said as Esmè nodded.

Esmè grabbed her bag as she stood up and walked out of the locker room and smiled as she saw Jackson "hey Esmè, can I have a word" he asked as she nodded

"well I thought that maybe we go for a drink or a bite of eat sometime" Jackson said as Esmè looked to him snd smiled

"are you asking me out?" She asked

"as friends of course" he said as she nodded

"friends" Esmè said smirking as she walked off.

Esmè looked as he walked off but could Jackson and Esmè only ever be just friends?
