𝟮𝟭. 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 {𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁,𝗦𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿}

Esme woke up in shock as she heard screaming. She fell out of the bed in shock and groaned. She sat up and looked to Jackson who was having nightmares in bed

"No...Esme...no" he said as she sat up

"Jackson" she said as she tried to wake him up. She sat on the side of the bed as he woke up. He jumped and looked to her and frowned

"What is going on. Your having the same nightmare" she said. She knew it was over the shooting. She knew how he wouldn't talk over it and how it effected him even though she was the one who got shot

"I'm fine" he said as he stood from the bed, she turned to look at him

"Jackson" she said as he sighed

"I'm going for a shower" he said as he walked off into the bathroom. Esme groaned as she lay back on the bed. She pulled the pillow of her head and rolled over

She didn't know what was going on with Jackson, she loved him and wanted to be there for him but he wasn't opening up and she knew how she had to go and do night shift and she was too tired for it

Esme got to the hospital and yawned. Chloe walked over to her and looked "we've been sleeping all day how are you yawning" Chloe asked as Esme looked to her

"Well when your boyfriend wakes you you screaming from multiple nightmares. You don't seem to get much sleep. I could do turn around and sleep in an on call room for much needed sleep" she said as Chloe frowned as she looked to Esme

"What is going on with him" Chloe asked as she looked to Jackson as Esme smiled

"I don't know. It's the shooting he had PTSD from it" Esme said as Chloe looked to her and frowned

"You were the one who was shot shouldn't you be having the PTSD" Chloe asked as Esme looked to her and sighed

"Don't I have b even asking the same thing. I don't even know what it is. If it's loosing Charles, seeing me almost die and it's took a part of him to be triggered but I am worried over him. He is shutting himself off and he's not himself and this feeling as if he's not good enough he never use to be like that before" Esme said as Chloe looked to her and smiled

"It will be okay" Chloe said as Esme smiled. She looked to see Jackson as he stood with the rest of the residents and sighed. She couldn't lie. She was worried

"Did you just yawn? Was that a yawn?" Mark asked April

"Don't tell us that you're tired after getting to sleep all day." Teddy said

"It's not as easy as it sounds." April said

"Not easy? Not e ... when I was a resident, i actually worked for a living. I did every other night call for five years." Bailey said

"There were days that i didn't go home for 72 hours I loved it.." Stark said

"As you trudged through the snow while you whittled your own scalpels." Alex said as they sniggered

"Sorry. I didn't quite catch that, Karev."

"Uh, Karev, I need you to follow up on my post-ops.And here. Take this research.Divide out all the fistula cases." Bailey said
