"Tae, how is it that someone with literally the most horrendous penmanship I've ever seen can write in literally the cutest English letters I've ever seen?"

It was Thursday afternoon, the day before their projects were due, and Jungkook and Taehyung were seated on the floor of the animal section in the library, studying their topic of interest— dogs.

They technically were supposed to be in detention, but Mr. Chou wasn't here today, and they didn't feel like it.

They technically were supposed to be reading too, but Jungkook was letting Taehyung doodle random English words on his wrists instead, half of which Taehyung knew, and the other half he had no idea what he was writing.

"Well," Taehyung shrugged and snapped the cap back onto his marker, admiring his work, "Everyone's gotta be good at something, I guess. Also— what do you think?"

Jungkook held up his wrist, twisting it around and examining his newest addition to the myriad of bubbly letters on his arm:

♥︎ ꓄ᗩᏋᏦᎧᎧᏦ ♥︎

"Hmm... I like it," he tapped his chin, nodding in approval. "What's it mean?"

"Means you're a big dummy," Taehyung grabbed another marker, trying his hardest to conceal the smile turning his lips upwards when Jungkook let out the fakest, most deadpan gasp of offense.

"Well then I guess you'll just have to find a new BFF, Taehyung." Jungkook folded his arms against his uniform, legs stretching out so that both lace-up boots kicked flat against the shelf in front of them.

Again, Taehyung tried his hardest not to laugh at the word "BFF" actually coming out of Jungkook's own mouth. It didn't work, though, because now he was giggling uncontrollably like an even bigger dummy-- another side-effect of being around Jungkook.

"Aww, but why?" Taehyung kicked his legs out as well, slumping down slightly so that his white leather sneakers could touch the shelf too. "I kinda love the one I have," he whispered, ever so gently elbowing him.

The little smile on Jungkook's face was immediate.

"Hey, Tae." Jungkook ever so gently elbowed him back. "You wanna hug me as much as I wanna hug you?" he whispered, to which Taehyung gave him an enthusiastic nod. Maybe a bit too enthusiastic. "Okay," he said, not hesitating in the slightest to throw his arms around his very best friend and squeeze him like they hadn't hugged in ages, even though he'd already hugged him at least six times today.

Taehyung honestly still wasn't sure if Jungkook was unaware of how strong he was or if he just really had a thing for hugging, but this was officially his favorite feeling in the whole world. The best feeling. Enough to even make waking up and going to school enjoyable now. And sometimes-- if they were feeling wild-- they'd hold hands while they hugged too. It was crazy.

In fact, he'd already snuggled his head so deep into the crevice of Jungkook's shoulder that he didn't even notice the person standing above them with mint green hair.

And glasses.

And a clipboard.

"Well, Kookie, I gotta say," Min Yoongi clicked his pen, writing something down as the two of them now jolted away from each other as if they'd just been electrocuted. "Never thought you'd be a threesome kinda guy, but I promise I'm not here to judge, okay?"

Well.

Let's see.

Did he want to ask why Hoseok's boyfriend currently looked like he'd switched personalities with Namjoon?
