Last school year: May
The two of them didn't say a word the entire way to Hoseok's house. When Hoseok and Yoongi finally got to his front door, they were soaked all the way up to their knees from all the water on the ground. Yoongi was shaking from the cold, so Hoseok had given him his hoodie so he could stay warm. He also realized this was probably the only time he'd ever see Yoongi in a color other than black.
So this was it. Min Yoongi was standing in front of his house, waiting to be let inside, and it was well past midnight. He decided it didn't have to be weird as long as he acted mature about it. This wasn't that big of a deal, right? It was no different than anyone else spending the night with him.
He pushed open the door, trying to be quiet so he wouldn't wake his parents up. The last thing he wanted to do was explain why he was bringing a stranger into the house at such a late hour. Besides, he wanted to introduce his parents to Yoongi properly; not when they were both soaking wet and exhausted.
"Your place is huge," Yoongi whispered, looking up towards the ceiling that seemed to stretch on forever. "This is where you live?"
"Yep," Hoseok said, watching as Yoongi admired everything around him. "It starts to feel smaller once you get used to it. And come on, let's go to my room."
Yoongi froze in place, staring at Hoseok as he started walking up the stairs. When Hoseok realized he wasn't following him, he turned back around to find Yoongi with bright red cheeks. This was the most nervous he'd ever seen him.
"Look, I know it's kind of weird," Hoseok, sighed, leaning against the railing, "but it's for the best. I have a couch in my room that you can sleep on, and it's actually really comfy-"
"Hobi, um..." Yoongi interrupted, running a hand through his hair. He was looking away from Hoseok, staring at nothing. "Is it bad if I say that maybe I wanna sleep with you?"
Hoseok's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
Did those words really just come out of Yoongi's mouth? Or was he just imagining them?
But when he saw Yoongi staring at him, waiting for a response, he knew it was real.
Ok, so he totally wanted to sleep with Yoongi. In fact, nothing sounded better than getting to sleep next to his favorite person in the whole world and be close to him the entire night. But after what happened in the library, he wasn't so sure if he trusted himself anymore. He hadn't known that just a simple kiss could turn him on so much, and who knew what would happen if they actually got in his bed. He wanted to believe that he'd be able to control himself, but he knew deep down that it was too risky.
"Sorry," Yoongi said, shaking his head. "I shouldn't have said anything. I'll sleep on the couch." Yoongi started walking up the stairs towards him, but when Hoseok saw the look in his eyes, he looked beyond hurt. Oh no.
"Wait," Hoseok said, grabbing his hand and trying to look him in the eyes. "It's not bad. It's not bad at all. I wanna sleep with you too. It's just..." He was trying to find the right words to say. How was he supposed to tell his boyfriend that he liked him a bit too much now?
"What?" Yoongi asked, looking at him intensely. He'd never felt more under pressure.
Hoseok let out a deep breath of air.
"I wanna do things to you, Yoongi. Things that aren't so innocent."
He thought he might have scared Yoongi, or at least freaked him out a little bit. But when he looked up at him, he was smirking.
"And what's so wrong about that?" he replied.
