Yoongi had spent the rest of the day fighting back tears. He hadn't spoken a single word to anyone, and now that it was finally time to leave, he was rushing to grab his books from his locker so he could get out.

"Yoongi, wait up!" he heard Namjoon call after him, but Yoongi pretended like he didn't hear him. He couldn't speak to anyone right now, otherwise he would definitely start crying. Namjoon didn't need to see him like that.

Right as he grabbed his last book, a note came flying out.

Please just let me explain.

Yoongi didn't want an explanation. He didn't care why or how Hoseok had decided to cheat on him. All he knew was that he hadn't been good enough for him. Despite Yoongi being completely, madly in love with Hoseok, he'd never felt the same way..

He was never enough.

Yoongi tore the note in half, throwing it away as he walked out the doors.

Every time Jimin ended up in Taehyung's bed, he asked himself the same question: "Why do I do this to myself?"

There he was, wrapped in Taehyung's arms, his naked back to his bare chest, and none of it meant anything. Even if Jimin made Taehyung feel amazing every time, even if the two of them cuddled for hours afterwards, it didn't mean a single thing. Tomorrow Taehyung would be back to gazing at Namjoon, and they would pretend like nothing ever happened. That was how it worked.

Jimin hadn't slept at all. He rolled over to look at the sleeping boy next to him, his blue hair sprawled all over the place. He really did have the cutest bed-head. Without thinking, Jimin placed a kiss on his nose.

And then one on his cheek.

And his forehead.

And then, finally, his lips.

Right as he was about to pull away, he felt a hand pull him back. Taehyung was smiling, but he still hadn't opened his eyes. How long had he been awake?

"Don't stop," he said, wrapping his arms around Jimin.

He was now attacking Jimin with kisses, and Jimin was giggling uncontrollably. He loved when Taehyung did this, even if he tried to pretend like he didn't. It almost made him feel like he meant something more to him.

"Tae," he said between kisses, trying to nudge him away. Taehyung only groaned and pulled him closer.

"Tae," he said again, a little more firmly. He turned his face away from Taehyung so that he couldn't kiss him anymore, but he only moved down.

Taehyung showered his neck and jawline with kisses, stroking his pink hair as he did so. Jimin wanted so badly to give in. Who cared if Taehyung didn't really love him? He got to have  sex with not only the most attractive guy he'd ever seen, but his best friend too. That wasn't so bad, right?

But he did care. He couldn't just keep getting his hopes up that maybe things would be different, only to be brought down again like he was every time. He had to know how Taehyung really felt, or if he even stood a chance.

"Tae!" he said again, throwing him off. Taehyung had obviously been startled, because his eyes had grown very wide, and he was staring at Jimin in silence. Jimin had even startled himself; he'd never done anything like that before, and now he had no idea what he even wanted to say.

"Sorry," he said, hiding his face in one of the throw pillows. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"No, it's fine," Taehyung reassured him. He sat up and tried to shake the throw pillow away from his face, but Jimin refused. "Is something wrong?" he asked.

Jimin only nodded, still not looking up. Taehyung's face fell into a frown.

"Jim, just tell me what's the matter. You know you don't have to hide anything from me." He squeezed Jimin's hand, stroking it with his thumb.

Jimin let out a deep breath, taking the pillow away from his face and meeting Taehyung's gaze.

"I don't think I can do this anymore," he said, tears starting to well up in his eyes. He was about to put his face back in the pillow when Taehyung pulled him into his arms.

"Whoa, Jimin, what's going on? Why are you crying?" He squeezed him tight.

"Because I love you, Tae," Jimin said, his head on his shoulder. "I really, really love you. And I know this whole thing that we do wasn't supposed to mean anything, and it didn't at first, but over time I just kinda started to like you more and more, and whenever you look at Namjoon it makes me feel all crazy, and-"

"Jimin," Taehyung said, cutting him off. He looked extremely nervous. Jimin looked up at him, looking like he was about to fall apart right on Taehyung's bed.

"You don't have to say anything,"Jimin said quickly, realizing how stressful this must've been for Tae. "I know you don't feel the same, and it's totally fine. We both walked into this knowing there weren't any strings attached, right? So it's not like you have to feel bad or anything."

When Taehyung just nodded, Jimin went to grab his clothes.
