But Jimin did call him, and Jungkook somehow managed to keep him up the entire night.

He'd been having way too much fun ranting about what a dumbass everyone in the book was, and Jungkook was having way too much fun laughing at everything he said. He would just let Jimin be as vulgar and cynical as he wanted, which was oddly liberating in a way. For the first time since switching, he'd finally felt somewhat at ease.

Like he could be himself.

Talking with Jungkook had an effect on him, one that he remembered clearly. And he swore he was going to do everything in his power to never forget that again.

"So here's the deal," Jungkook led him into a more secluded section of the hallways, the other students' voices beginning to die out. "You and I met for the first time at school. We went to my house to finish our English project together, and the two of us ended up really hitting it off. I finally got the balls to make a move on you, we kissed, and then you agreed to date me. Sound good?"

Jimin nodded his head. "I mean, that's boring as hell, but it works, I guess," he shrugged. It was better than people knowing the truth about him, he supposed. And anyways, meeting your boyfriend at your therapist's office wasn't exactly romantic.

"Oh, and we most definitely did not bond over books about princesses and sexy vampire love triangles," Jungkook added, the corners of his lips beginning to rise.

"Oh yeah, definitely not," Jimin caught onto his playful tone, a smile of his own beginning to spread across his face. "That would just be embarrassing, right?"

"Right..." Jungkook grabbed his hand, suddenly pulling him down to sit on one of the benches with him. He then began shuffling through his bag, pulling out various notebooks and folders and shoving them onto Jimin's lap.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Jimin stared down at the pile starting to form on him, then over at Jungkook who seemed to be desperately searching for something very important.

"I brought my yearbook so we could look at it together," he told him, now pulling out a black and silver covered book with far too many signatures on the front. "Found it," he held it up, smiling at it with satisfaction.

"Right, and why do I need to look at this?" Jimin watched as Jungkook opened the book eagerly and flipped right to the freshmen photos. Almost immediately, he cringed at the unwanted site of his sixteen- year- old self on the front page, his hair parted to the side and a huge smile on his face. He would never understand how anyone needed to look that happy in a school photo, and his smile was so obviously fake too. It almost made him want to take the marker out of Jungkook's hands and just scribble the entire thing out, his alter was such a fucking loser.

"Cutie," Jungkook started giggling, startling Jimin out of his humiliation. Suddenly, the cap of his marker was being popped off as he began to draw a heart around him, putting tiny sparkles around his name. And then, just when Jimin thought he was done, Jungkook had to add a tiara on top of his head, which only made him giggle even more.

"Anyways," Jungkook finally flipped the page, still smiling, "I wanted to show you my friends, that way you'll already know who everyone is. Would that be okay?"

Jimin nodded his head, reaching for Jungkook's fingers.

"Cool," Jungkook laced their hands together, pointing towards a boy at the top of the page. "So this blond guy right here is Kim Seokjin, otherwise known as the sexiest guy in school. He kinda looks like he would be an asshole since he's practically a supermodel, but he's actually oblivious to like... everything."

Jimin leaned in to rest his head on Jungkook's shoulder, gazing down at the blond boy and his strikingly high cheekbones. "Oblivious supermodel. Got it," he said.
