Pete's pov
Dad told us to rest. After we both freshened up. We went to the room. Luca just threw his bag away and jumped on the bed sleeping instantly. Later, I joined my brother snuggling into him and sleeping peacefully.
I was sleeping when I heard Daddy's soft tone, waking me up. " Pete, wake up honey, time to have our tour."
" Yeah... daddy... am up " I said, barely able to speak up. The drive hours were too long
" Babe, wanna sleep more?" He asked me as he caressed my hair
I nodded stirring in my sleep
" Okay... Have a few minutes." He said as he kissed my forehead then he went to Luca
" Luke, time for the tour babe."
" Five more minutes daddy " He said in a muffled voice
" Sure, I'll take a shower and come back again." He said as he kissed Luke's forehead too
I curled up in the blanket more as I made Luca cover me too and we drifted to sleep
Daddy came back after 30 minutes
" Babes, I hope you get enough sleep for now." Dad said as he shook us lightly
We didn't respond, just hummed lightly and kept sleeping
" Boys, no more sleep... Up now, please or else you won't sleep at night."
" Five minutes dad." came the muffled reply from us
" No more minutes, you already had 30 minutes... Up boys."
" Daddy!!" We whined more as we felt our covers being pulled off
" Ohh! C'mon." He said as he grabbed our arms
We got up eventually and said," We are up."
" Good, freshen up and let's go for a tour around the farm."
" Yes daddy." We rushed to the bathroom and washed our faces then Dad took us to wander around
We visited the stables of the horses and the cows then the chick farm too. We went to see the lake and our in-home vegetable garden and the farm too. We took a round around the whole place and it was so huge and new. I have never been to an actual farm house before, just to my father's paternal home but that wasn't as huge as this and I don't recall it much.
" It's so big!"
" And warm! Daddy, can we ride the horse?"
" Yes, I also want to do that!"
" Of course, kiddos." He said as he put his arm around our shoulders and we headed to stable
He rubbed the body of the horses. " First, you have to make them trust you." He said, putting the saddle
We looked at him intently, this is so amazing
" Pick up one and I'll help you to get on the back."
" This is to guide the horse..." He told me all the stuff I should know then he helped Luke and did the same.
He got on a horse who was so happy that Dad did... I guess it's his favorite one
We both picked a horse , mine was marble white dusty tail, it almost looked magical. The only white horse among all the ones standing here. All the horses here are so fierce and beautiful. Luke's was jet black with this pretty dark and soothing aura. We rubbed their body and heads softly, like dad did and then he taught us to put the saddle. Then he helped us to get on their backs. We got outside the stable as the horses were holding us
