Destiny's pov
We carried on driving to the house. My brothers looked at me as if I were another creature. Well, maybe I am!
" What was that?" Pete asked
" How did you learn to do that?" Luke gave me quizzical look
I smirked and said," Long story!"
" Care to tell us?" They asked together
" Sure! You remember the first day you started working with Emmett on that project?"
" Yeah?"
" It was my first day of training."
" Training?"
" In the warehouse?"
" Yep!"
Flashback
We were having breakfast in the dining room. My brother were going to the warehouse to start their first day working with Emmett on some project.
" Boys, I'll take you with me." Daddy said
" Really Peter and Luke are so lucky." I mumbled
" Okay daddy!" They said then went to our sister as we heard her
They messed with my hair.
Pete said," See ya bunny."
" Bye, princess."
" Bye bitches!" I pushed them
" Dad, don't bother yourself, I have to pick up Heaven." Luke said
" Ohh, yeah, okay no problem then."
" Bye daddy." Pete said
He flicked my head then ran out with Luca following me.
I pouted and carried on having my meal slowly. Dad said," C'mon don't get upset, honey!"
I sighed, " I am not upset."
" You are our princess, we can't let danger approach you."
And before I could protest, Nico spoke up," Sometimes things get out of hand, what if danger approaches her and we are not around, she can be our princess with the strength of a warrior."
My eyes widened and my lips parted as I gazed at my older brother in awe.
" What?" Dad was in shock too
" As you heard, she can't stand behind and watch in horror. She's a Carnell. She's Diana's sister, the ghost. Get up, we are going to start the training." He gestured to me to stand up
Mom raised her chin up and smiled proudly at him," Well said! That's my boy!"
I felt over the moon. I couldn't believe it. The last time we quarreled about it and he was so stiff. Is he saying this now?
" Really?" I almost jumped from my seat
" Wait, wait! Are you for real?" Dad asked deadpanned," You didn't ask my permission. I am her guardian ."
" I am asking now." He asked firmly
" It didn't work like this. And what about Marco?"
" Well, let me see him protesting about my decision." He shrugged," And dad, you did the same when you made Luke start training again. You didn't ask me or Marc."
" I am his guardian too." Dad said as it's the most obvious thing ever," You can't compare it."
" Okay! I will just train her, it's not like I will send her to war." He said firmly
